Wang Yao followed the two Taoists. He had the Soul Repressing Tower in his hand. It was quite heavy.

The other Taoists waiting for them outside the tomb started to become anxious.

“Hey, our teacher and uncle have been inside the tomb for a long time. I hope they are fine,” one of the Taoists said.

“They will be fine. Our teacher and uncle are extraordinary Taoism practitioners. Let’s just wait here for them,” another young Taoist said.

A second later, they heard sounds coming out of the tomb. They became worried again.

“Teacher! Uncle!” one of the young Taoists called out.

As soon as they saw the two elderly Taoists, they stopped worrying.

“All is good now. We’ve got rid of the evil ghost,” Zhang Siheng said.

  “Fantastic,” his student said.

“I didn’t do much. This gentleman killed the evil ghost,” Zhang Siheng said as he pointed at Wang Yao with a smile.

“No, sir, I was just helping out,” Wang replied.

“You were more than helping out,” Zhang Siheng said. “We were actually your assistant. Anyway, let’s get out of here.”

Everyone walked out of the shed.

“There is still something wrong here.” Wang Yao stopped.

He waved one hand. Whoo! A gust of wind passed by.

“You can create wind!” the Taoists exclaimed in shock.

“You can do magic arts!” Zhang Siheng was stunned.

“This is not magic arts,” Wang Yao said. “The wind already existed. I just facilitated its movement.”

He actually communicated with his surroundings using his Qi. He sped up the air flow of his surroundings.

“If that is not magic arts, what is magic arts?” one of the young Taoists murmured.

Those who had been waiting for them at the foot of the mountain went up to them as soon as they saw the group led by Zhang Siheng come back.

“Has it been sorted?” one of them asked.

  “Yes, sorted,” Zhang Siheng said.

  “That’s great,” the Taoist said.

Zhang Siheng didn’t talk in detail about what had happened on the mountain. He briefly told everyone that the evil ghost had been removed. They didn’t mention at all what Wang Yao did in the tomb as suggested by Wang Yao.

“Well, it’s all sorted. It’s time for me to leave,” he said.

He had got rid of the evil ghost, and the sick Taoist was stable at the moment. Wang Yao left the herbal formula before leaving. The Taoist just needed to follow his instructions to take the herbal decoction regularly.

“Bring him to my village if anything happens to him.” Wang Yao left the address of his clinic to Zhang Siheng.

“Thank you,” Zhang Siheng sincerely said. “Let me know if you need our help for anything.”

“OK, I will,” Wang Yao said.

Before he left, the old Taoist gave him a small bell, which looked exactly like the bells the Taoists wore at their waists.

“This bell represents us,” Zhang Siheng said. “Please take it. You can send someone to us with the bell if you are not available.”

“OK, thanks,” Wang Yao said. “By the way, that Soul Repressing Tower is made of pure gold?”

“Yes,” Zhang Siheng said. “Do you want it?”

“Of course not. It belongs to this country,” Wang Yao said with a smile as he shook his hand.

“You can keep it for a while if you want to,” Zhang Siheng replied. “We are currently responsible for the tower.”

  “Really? Why?” Wang Yao asked.

“Because it is unstable,” Zhang Siheng said. “It is too risky to hand it out at this stage. The local government has accepted my advice.”

“I see.” Wang Yao just realized Zhang Siheng was more than just a highly skilled Taoist. He was also highly regarded by the local government.

“I have to go now,” he said.

“OK, bye for now,” Zhang Siheng said.

Miao Sanding and Liu Sifang drove Wang Yao to the airport.

“Thank you for coming,” Miao Sanding said.

He still thought he was responsible for the death of those people. Thanks to Wang Yao, the evil soul had been killed and the injured Taoist was recovering. He could tell Zhang Siheng was also very appreciative of what Wang Yao did for them.

“You are welcome. Come visit me in the village when you have time,” Wang Yao said.

  “We will,” Miao Sanding said.

Wang Yao popped onto the plane flying to Dao.

Zhang Siheng went back to the Dragon Tiger Mountain with his younger brother, students, and Soul Repressing Tower.

“Is it OK to take it with us?” Zhang Siheng’s younger brother asked.

“Yes, don’t worry,” Zhang Siheng said. “I am interested to know who that young gentleman’s teacher is. It is simply amazing for him to be so highly skilled at such a young age,”

“Haha, I think he is just gifted,” his younger brother said. “By the way, what do we need the Soul Suppressing Tower for?”

“It is very useful. It will help us practice Taoism,” Zhang Siheng said.

The tower was no good at the beginning since it was occupied by the evil ghost. Now, the evil ghost had been removed by Wang Yao using his powerful and pure internal power. Perhaps Wang Yao wasn’t aware that part of his internal power was left inside the tower. That was why Zhang Siheng insisted to take the tower with him.

Wang Yao’s Qi was divine, which was precious to anyone practicing Taoism.

“We might be able to jump over the hurdle with the assistance of the Qi left in the tower,” Zhang Siheng said.

Actually, Wang Yao had already jumped over the so-called hurdle. People practicing Taoism didn’t care about money. They cared about anything that could help them make progress with their practice.

“I see. It’s great you thought about it,” Zhang Siheng’s younger brother said.

It was after 7 p.m. by the time the plane landed at Dao. Wang Yao checked in to a hotel after leaving the airport.

“Maybe I should take a walk outside,” he murmured to himself.

It was not too late, so Wang Yao left the hotel. It was still pretty hot in summer in Dao even though the city was on the coast. Fortunately, the cool breeze came from the ocean in the evening to drive the heat away.

Food stalls and BBQ were everywhere near the road at this time of the evening. It was nearly 9 p.m. when Wang Yao walked out of the hotel. There were still a lot of people eating outside. Dao was a coastal city, so there were a lot of vendors selling seafood dishes.

He hadn’t ate dinner, so he picked a clean place and ordered several dishes.

“Let’s drink!” A group of half-naked men were drinking at the table next to Wang Yao.

“How have you been lately?” a middle-aged man asked.

“Not good. I lost my job. I’ve been doing babysitting at home,” a young man said.

“Why? I thought your job was pretty stable,” the middle-aged man said.

“I was made redundant,” the young man said.

“What? From that company?” the middle-aged man asked with surprise.

“Don’t even mention it,” the young man said. “The company had no problem, but they recently changed management. The new boss made new policies.”

“I actually think Sun Zhengrong is pretty good,” the middle-aged man said.

“Yes, but I heard the new boss is the son of some senior government officer. He’s pretty greedy. I think he caught something on Sun Zhengrong,” the young man said.

“Really? Sun Zhengrong has a good reputation in Dao. What could possibly go wrong?” the middle-aged man asked.

“All the businessmen only care about is money,” the young man said. “In addition, Sun Zhengrong has been doing land developing. He might have offended someone in the process of demolishing old apartments.”

As they were chatting casually, Wang Yao paid attention to every single word they said. He wondered what had happened to Sun Zhengrong in Dao.
