Parking the car outside the hospital, Noah for the first time liked the attention he was getting. It was not that he felt more handsome, or that he liked people envying him for having a good life, but rather he was proud that one day he could take Maggy out for a ride in that car. And the way his little sister was excited, Noah knew that she would have more fun than anyone there, either because of how much fun she would have riding at high speed (without putting her at risk), or because of how much she would like to be able go out while people look at her.

  He thought his sister was the cutest person in the world, and as much as he was not a fan of getting all kinds of attention, he knew she loved getting it, so he was happy that this car was going to provide that little pleasure for her.

  Of course, since Noah parked the car, several looks were already turned on him, several people were wondering who had arrived at that moment, what person who could afford a $400,000 car was visiting the hospital at that time. And to the surprise of several doctors, nurses, and attendants, the one who got out of that car was one of their most frequent visitors. It was the polite, handsome, and elegant young man, but who unfortunately kept his distance from everyone there, frustrating the countless employees who had already tried to start a conversation with him with ulterior motives.

  No one had ever seen Noah arrive with a car. The most expensive method of travel he ever used was paying for a taxi, but almost every time he came by bus, and from time to time he came from a Woober. So, seeing Noah with a car as expensive and beautiful as that was a little disconcerting.

  The nurses who once thought he was beautiful, now saw him more like a Greek god, who besides being handsome and polite was also rich! Truly, he was the ideal man for any traditional lady.

  And unlike the other times Noah came in and just waved them off casually before going to his little sister's room, this time he was coming over to the counter.

  Some of the younger nurse attendants even stood with a straight spine and looked quickly at the nearby mirror to see how their makeup was. One of them had her lipstick slightly smudged, so she bent down for a few seconds and tried desperately to wipe the lipstick stain off quickly before Noah arrived. But unfortunately for her, that made Noah speak to the other attendant who was standing straight and looking at him with a warm smile, which Noah returned with a smile back out of courtesy.

  He knew his smile was killer because of the body language that every woman he smiled at had shown, but unfortunately, Noah only had Maggy in mind. Not anything perverted or such; he wanted her to grow up strong and healthy, find an ideal person, and have her own happy life. But as long as she wasn't healthy, Noah wouldn't be comfortable flirting and spending time with other women and leaving Maggy in that situation.

  But his sister had already said countless times how well these girls treated her, so the least Noah could do was to treat them kindly in return and show at least a little courtesy so that they would continue to treat Maggy well.

  But this time, Noah did not come to talk to them, much to the sadness of the younger nurses, and to the happiness of the older nurses who saw it all from afar and enjoyed the disappointed reaction of the younger girls. What Noah came to do before going to see Maggy was to find the doctor in charge of her treatment and resolve this issue that he had been waiting for all this time to address.

  Noah thought he would need a few more years to get enough money to treat Maggy, but it never crossed his mind that in less than a month he would go from being one of the weakest Blessed in the city to one of the strongest, almost reaching Rank C.

  There were few people at the moment in the city of Eyrin who could stop Noah from doing something if he wanted to do it, and he loved that feeling. Even more, he loved it now that he had enough money to start Maggy's treatment.

  Unfortunately he could only start her treatment with the money he had. The rest of the money he would have to obtain during her treatment, otherwise the procedure would be interrupted. But with the money he currently had, it was enough for two weeks of Maggy's treatment, which Noah was sure would be enough for something he just thought about.

  On the way as he drove from the warehouse to here, Noah had a great business idea that could both help him make money, with the high rate of people who would be willing to pay for it, and help him earn exp too. This was an idea that Noah had when dealing with Mufag, and he only remembered this because of what he heard from the demon manager of the underground fights.

  His powers were only being limited by his imagination; now was the time to use those powers to grow faster. For that, he would only need a little more money, which could be easily resolved by invading a few more Fortresses.

  With everything settled, the medic told Noah that the procedure would be started tomorrow, and asked if Noah wanted to be the one to give this happy news to Maggy, which he clearly accepted.

  Arriving at the little girl's room, Noah decided to give her a little scare once again, as he almost always did. At first she had hated it, but as he always kept doing it, nowadays she even enjoyed being scared by him.

  Maggy had her back to the door, which made Noah wonder what she was doing, and what the reason was behind her sitting that way if it seemed so uncomfortable. With an evil smile on his face, Noah made his voice a little thicker and said in an authoritative tone, "Pets are prohibited in the hospital! What are you doing?!"

  Hearing that authoritative voice, the little girl's brain froze for a second. Not knowing what to do, she reflexively turned to the door with big red eyes and a startled look as she said it in a crying voice, "Please, sir, I don't-" But when she saw that the one who was actually at the door was Noah, her brother, the person who gave her this pet monster, Maggy's gaze froze again. She didn't know if she was happy that Noah was there, or if she was angry with him for scaring her like that.

  But while she was lost in her own thoughts, Noah took advantage of the situation to approach her and give her a hug, which she responded to by reflex, before opening her little mouth and digging a bite into Noah's arm, which did not even hurt him, but in order not to disappoint her, he pretended he was hurting a lot and started to apologize to the little girl.

  "Guess who's got a sports car now?" Noah said with a smug smile on his face.

  Even though Maggy needed money to be treated, the last thing that crossed her mind was Noah's anger or envy that he might not have paid for her treatment and instead apparently bought a sports car. In fact what happened was her two little black eyes grew to the point where they didn't even look natural anymore, something that Noah found very funny, until he started seeing stars in those eyes, which scared him a little bit, since he I thought stuff like that only happened in cartoons.

  "Are you serious Noah?! Which car is it? How fast is it going? Are you going to take me for a drive when I get better? Are you going to let me drive when I get better? Will you let me drive more than 250 miles an hour? Can I roll the car over at high speed to test the car's safety system? Can I try to hit a truck with the car to see if it is resistant?" She asked a series of questions at a frantic pace, which made Noah have a little trouble understanding what she was saying, but when he heard her asking if she could roll over the car he was…… lost?

  "What? You want to do what with my car? My god…… I was even thinking about letting you take a ride in the passenger seat, but you're more of a problem than I thought, so no ride." Noah said in a serious tone with an "angry" look.

  "Whaaaaat???? Please Noah, I was kidding; it was all kidding. There are hidden cameras all over the place! This was a video I was recording; I was sent to do this…… The emperor of the planet forced me to say all that; it wasn't really my real thoughts! Let me take a drive with you!! Please, please, please, please pleeeeeaaaaseeeee!!!!!" She started pleading with Noah as she clung to him, who was sitting next to her on the bed, and started to fill him with cute kisses on both cheeks thinking that he would be convinced.

  And when she saw Noah's expression getting less closed off, she increased the intensity of kisses on his cheeks, thinking it would make him agree, until Noah responded.

  "Okay…… I'm going to let you go for a drive with me," Noah said at a slow pace, observing all of Maggy's reactions, which clearly were getting more animated over time, "But you go in the trunk."——
