Jing Yiran suddenly felt that his body was on fire. He felt very thirsty and drank a full cup of cold water.

But the water did not help.

He was still feeling very thirsty!

Whenever he took Lu’s supple and small body into his arms, the part which he had always been so proud of, worked again!

Lu was like an exquisite doll lying in bed against the moonlight. Her face was damp and shining and her long eyelashes looked beautiful. Her lips were cute and plump. Everything about her was calling out to him.

Jing Yiran kept mumbling inside his heart – she is not my type, she is not my type, no, she is not!

During the past thirty years, she had never been Jing Yiran’s type.

But now things were different. He was not sure if she was, and that was why he kept indicating to himself that she was not his type.

However, it did not work. He shut his eyes and could still imagine the beauty of the body that was leaning against him!

Lu’s legs were on his thighs, and her arms were around his waist. Her belly was against his whilst her breasts were pressed against his chest.

What was going on with this girl? Why was she snuggling into him so much?

  She was basically killing him!

What was more, when Lu lifted her legs, he almost lost his control and took hold of her right there and then.

He was trying very hard to fight against the evil inside his heart. At this moment, Lu opened her eyes, and felt his wrist. She said with a frown, “What is wrong with you? Your temperature is rising, your heartbeat is increasing and there is a flush on your face. Have you got a fever?”

Jing Yiran was seriously irritated now!

He didn’t have a fever, he was feeling lusty.

What was going to happen, when a sexually experienced man who had not had sex for one whole year ran into a girl who never had sex?

He would die trying to control his urges.

Jing Yiran tried to suppress his desire, yet he failed. He held Lu’s chin, lowered his head and kissed her.

He was good at kissing and had enough experience. The moment he touched Lu’s supple and sweet lips, he became aggressive and lost himself in her mouth.

He opened her teeth with his smooth tongue and stuck it into her mouth, meshing with her smooth tongue.

  Lu was thoroughly confused!

What was happening? What did she say that made Jing Yiran kiss her so crazily? Was he kissing or biting? Look at her lips, they were bleeding!

She had seen many people kissing however this time, she was not an onlooker but a participant! And it did not seem that pleasant.

After a long time, Jing Yiran became breathless with excitement. His heart galloped away.

But he was very mellow towards this woman. He wanted her to experience the excitement and wondered if she had enjoyed it as much as he did.

His hands gently caressed Lu’s cheeks and asked her gently. “Did you like me kissing you? Did you feel good?”

Lu looked at Jing Yiran who was totally different from his usual self. “No, I didn’t! It didn’t feel good!”

  Jing Yiran’s face shrunk.

  She did not like it?!

He was a good kisser. No woman had ever complained before.

He planted a few kisses upon the now swelling lips whilst gently biting them. When he heard Lu’s low moaning, he stopped in satisfaction.

“It is okay, quite understandable, considering that you never kissed anyone before. You will start to enjoy it soon. We have time and I have experience, so I will teach you!”

Jing Yiran suddenly realized that it was a good thing that Lu had never had any intimate experience. It meant that she had never had any men in her life, only him!

He tried hard to control the strong desire inside his heart as he massaged Lu’s naked back gently.

He was trying very hard to control himself.

He wanted to take her so badly right now, but he did not want to take advantage of her.

Lu felt very comfortable by the massage from his hands. So she leaned into Jing Yiran, once again.

She thought for a moment and said in a soft voice, “You feel warm. It feels good.”

Jing Yiran smiled brightly. This girl learns fast!

His lips curved and he whispered in her ears. “You feel cold, and it feels good to have you in my arms on hot days.”

Saying so, Jing Yiran suddenly realized that Lu did feel cold. It was June and she was still seeking warmth.

Jing Yiran somehow felt that something was wrong.

  “Why are you so cold?”

Lu said in a straightforward manner, “Because my genes have been transformed by the virus and my temperature is lower than that of normal people. Now the virus is going to resurface soon, causing the temperature to go even lower, and making me colder.”

Jing Yiran’s desire was instantly gone.

He finally understood why Lu wanted to be next to him.

  She was feeling cold!

He held her close, trying to pass his warmth to her.

After a few minutes, he asked in a slightly hoarse voice. “Jing Yichen says that you need a blood transfusion every sixth month?”

Lu answered softly, “Yes, the due date should be next week.”

“What will happen if you don’t go through the process?”

“My body will fail in the battle against the virus, and my cells will die, so will I in half a year’s time.”

Her voice sounded calm. Obviously, she had accepted the truth and did not fear death.

  But Jing Yiran’s heart ached.

He took Lu into his arms and kissed her unlined forehead gently. He continued in a muffled voice. “I asked Jing Yichen and he said that the blood you receive is not ordinary, but processed especially to fight against the virus, otherwise it will be invaded by the virus very soon. He says that only a few people in the world are able to do this work and it costs a great deal.”

As a matter of fact, Mu Wensheng was the only person who could process and make the changes to the blood to fight against the virus, and there was going to be a large amount of original blood needed for the work, which cost a great deal of energy and money. Almost all the blood collected was used to make the special blood for Lu.

“If we had not returned, what would have happened to your blood transfusion? Did you plan to die?”
