Military Headquarters, Country D

  "Men, this is an important mission so we have to make sure that everything is perfect. Each one of you should be in disguise. Prepare everything we need as soon as possible because we will leave for Country B in an hour." Zach, Country D's Field Marshal instructed his team.

  "Are you sure you are joining us on this mission? Does Keira know about it? Zach, it's been a while since you've been in action. Besides, Drey and I can handle this operation. We also have Riley and Cobra helping us so you don't have to come with us you know?" General Torin commented.

  Zach chuckled and said, "That's exactly why I'm coming. I'm missing the action. And yes Keira knows about it allowed me to go especially since Gavin is her close friend. He is close to our family and this is the least we can do for him after all that he has done to help us out when we need him. I want to personally take charge of this mission and help him solve it."

  "Alright, we miss working along with you too. It's been a while since we went on a mission together. Ah, I miss Cielo too but I know that Drey will kill us if we ever mention his wife." Torin murmured with a pout.

  "Ah, Cielo is a busy mom just like Keira so even though we miss her in action we can't have her. I also agree with Drey that we must not let her join us on a dangerous mission like this. Anyway, go assemble the men. We must finish this mission as soon as possible. That man Duncan has been on the loose for too long. It's a good thing that Gavin has finally asked us to handle this."

  "The soldiers of the Royal family can't be trusted… They have been infiltrated by Duncan's spies so it's no wonder they failed to catch Duncan so many times. Let's show him that our elite group is different from the people he has been dealing with till now. He is messing with the wrong person this time," Zach commented with a smirk.

  They already had a lead on Duncan's hideout. But they would not attack unless all the things were analyzed perfectly. They had to make sure that no one would get hurt in the process as requested by Gavin. Especially someone from the Prime Minister's family.

  He was very confident that they would succeed because they have never failed a mission till now.? He would make sure that justice is served and that Duncan would end up where he was supposed to be since the beginning… in prison!

  He grabbed his phone and called Gavin to inform him that they would be on their way soon.

  "Thank you so much for agreeing to do Zach," Gavin answered from the other line.

  "You can thank me once we have successfully completed the mission, Gavin. Keira threatened even me saying that I'm not allowed to go home until I make sure that I caught Duncan and all his minions," Zach said with a grin.

  Gavin chuckled and said, "No wonder she said that as we two are very close. I'm really glad I have you guys on this. I can't thank you enough for doing this."

  "It's nothing, Gavin. Let's see each other as soon as we arrive there."

  "Yeah, I have already prepared a place for you guys to stay. Kevin will be waiting to receive you from the airport. He will personally assist you all with whatever you need."

  "Good. See you soon."

  Gavin sighed once the call got cut and walked to Lucas' bedroom. Brione was in the room talking to his father and keeping him company.

  As soon as he entered the room he saw his father laughing about something Brione had said.

  "Oh God, dear. I can't believe you acted in a role like that. I can't imagine how funny you look acting like an old lady. Oh, I should definitely see more of your movies!" Lucas burst after Brione enacted her favorite lines in a movie where she acted as an old lady who got transmigrated to the body of a young woman.

  "You should Father. Also, you must recover fast and take me around the city as you promised," Brione reminded with her sweetest smile. She did not mind looking silly in front of her father-in-law as long as she could lighten his mood by making him laugh.

  "Of course dear. If you want we can go out tomorrow and leave Gavin here alone to work!" Lucas jested, looking at his son who was approaching them.

  Gavin chuckled and said, "I don't mind it. You two can enjoy your trip and I will focus on work. There's a lot of things to do now as we will announce my identity to all the citizens. We will hold a press conference tomorrow to make the announcement. The people deserve to know the truth about me and Cedric. I will keep the details private but let them know that Mother had twins."

  Lucas nodded and said, "Thank you for cleaning the mess I made, son. I really regret stubbornly insisting on handling this matter by myself. If only I listened to you and…"

  "That's enough, Father. Like I said, the past is out of our hands. You did your best together with Uncle Sean and Will. At least now we know how powerful our enemy is. I have asked some very capable people from Country D to help me takedown Duncan and they have agreed to do it. This way we can also prevent leaking of information."

  "Duncan has his eyes here everywhere, even here in the palace so I asked Kevin to conduct a thorough and strict background check of everyone who's working for us. Him together with Zach's team will weed out the spies working here. I'm sure that they've even bugged the palace except for our personal bedroom where workers aren't allowed without permission. Kevin has already arranged for every worker to get a full-body inspection before entering or exiting the palace. Every person except for Cain and our family members has to undergo this process."

  "They will also check the security systems in the Palace to make sure that they're in top condition and replace the glitchy or broken ones."

  It had not even been a day since Gavin arrived and yet he had already made the required changes and improved the measures which they lacked before. Lucas was proud to see Gavin take responsibility and make changes accordingly

  "That's good son. I hope this time you manage to catch Duncan," Lucas said.

  Gavin had a serious expression as he replied, "I will Father. His triumphant days will be over soon and I promise to make him kneel in front of you."

  Brione looked at Gavin in a different light. She had never seen him in a serious mood like now. She even got goosebumps, hearing him speak so definitively. But she would cheer for her husband in his fight. That Duncan must get caught soon.
