Cheng Qingchong shivered in the dust. After a while, she slowly turned to look at the road. Qin Yinan’s car had already disappeared. She then placed them neatly on the bed before moving onto packing her luggage.

  The sun had almost set when Cheng Qingchong finished packing. She cleared away all the items that she didn’t need and dropped them in the downstairs trashcan. Then, she sat on the bed that she had slept in for the past year, staring at the setting sun out the window. She used her phone to transfer an amount of money into the card that Qin Yinan had given her when they first got married.
