His departure caused the situation to turn awkward. Qin Yinan didn’t think it was decorous to ask to leave right after his boss had, so he sought a random topic to continue the conservation. "By the way, I wish to thank you for what you did at Station TW. It’s thanks to you that Song Song is not harmed."

Qin Yinan was referring to his opportune appearance to detain and apprehend the deliveryman. Su Zhinian lowered his head and didn’t reply.

Even though Qin Yinan had known Su Zhinian for many years, they weren’t close. Plus, Qin Yinan was sensitive enough to tell Su Zhinian didn’t have a favorable impression of him. He laughed rather awkwardly before coming up with the excuse to leave. "CEO Su, if you’ll excuse me, I think I saw my friend there."

Before Qin Yinan could finish his sentence, Su Zhinian suddenly interrupted him. "Mr. Qin."

Qin Yinan turned to look at him.

Cheng Qingchong was raking her mind, staring at Qin Yinan. Who is this man? Why is he so familiar? I feel like I’ve seen him somewhere before……

Before she came up with an answer, she felt Su Zhinian’s gaze on him. She understood his message immediately; after all, she had been his assistant for many years. She smiled and said, "CEO Su, I’m sorry, do you mind if you excuse myself to use the bathroom?"

Su Zhinian nodded slightly. Cheng Qingchong glanced at Qin Yinan twice, and as she turned around, she suddenly recognized him at the man who had been crying despairingly in front of the bathroom at Eldorado.

The dejected and despondent man at Eldorado was a complete change from the dashing, confident, and kind man standing before her. No wonder she hadn’t recognized him at first.

After Cheng Qingchong walked away, Su Zhinian addressed Qin Yinan and said, "Mr. Qin, can I occupy a few minutes of your time?"

Qin Yinan was surprised that Su Zhinian would have something to say to him. After a moment of shock, he nodded. "Sure."

"Shall we?" Su Zhinian raised his hand that held the wine glass and pointed at the balcony.

"Okay," Qin Yinan answered and signaled for Su Zhinian to go first.

Su Zhinian nodded with thanks before walking toward the balcony. Qin Yinan grabbed two glasses of red wine from the passing waiter and quickly made to follow.

As the door to the balcony closed, the area became silent and private; it was a good place to chat.

Qin Yinan walked to Su Zhinian’s side and offered him a glass of wine. "Here."

Su Zhinian lowered his head to look at his own almost empty wine glass and shook his head. "I don’t drink."

Qin Yinan was startled. He glanced at the glass in Su Zhinian’s hand and realized the clear liquid in it wasn’t white wine but water.

Qin Yinan didn’t comment on it but placed one of the wine glasses in his hands on the table. Then, he took a generous sip out of the other. Noticing Su Zhinian’s silence, he asked, "CEO Su, what do you wish to discuss with me?"

Su Zhinian stared right ahead as if he hadn’t heard Qin Yinan or he was considering how to begin.

Qin Yinan, with his patience, didn’t say anything to rush him but stood there quietly and waited.

After about five minutes, Su Zhinian finally retracted his gaze to look at Qin Yinan. Then, he raised the glass to his lips and finished the final bit of water left in it before saying, "I wish to talk to you about Song Qingchun."
