“Alright.”Abel nodded in agreement. He continued to pick up the notebook and read it, but after asking a few questions to bunduk, he received no response.

Just as he was feeling strange, Bunduk’s heavy head rested on his shoulder, and the sound of his calm breathing reached Abel’s ears.

“He’s asleep…”Abel lowered his head and looked at Bunduk’s sleeping face. He said softly, “Didn’t he sleep for the whole afternoon today? How Strange… He hasn’t even read his notes. This person is really…”

Abel carried the sleeping Bunduk on his back and walked to the bed in the bedroom, making him lie flat on the bed. After blowing out the candle holder in the room, he gently closed the door and walked out.

It was late at night when Abel finally fell asleep on the Cork Recliner in the side room with his notebook in his arms.

The next morning, Abel was still the first to wake up. After all, the Cork chair was not as comfortable as the soft bed in the bedroom.

He sized up the quiet guest room and guessed that Kant and Bunduk were still asleep. Abel dragged his aching body into the bathroom.

In fact, before he came into contact with Caradia’s soldier, he did not have any obsession with bathing.

However, after seeing Claremont and the others leisurely bathing in the inn’s large bathhouse, Abel began to think that bathing was one of the ways to refresh one’s mind power.

As a water elf, he did gain a lot of benefits from it.

After Abel took a bath and came out of the bathroom. Kant was already sitting on a chair by the dining table and eating his morning tea.

  “Good Morning, your majesty,”Abel greeted.

“Good Morning,”Kant raised his head and replied, “What’s wrong with you? You Don’t seem to be in good spirits.”

“I accidentally fell asleep on the chair last night. I feel that my shoulder is a little sore now,”Abel replied as he swung his arm back and forth.

“I’ll go to the medical kit and get you some ointment to wipe yourself with,”Kant said as he stood up and walked to the door of his room, then he stuck his head out and said, “By the way, it’s getting late. Please help me wake up Bunduk.”

“Yes!”Abel was stunned for a moment. After he reacted, he replied.

He pushed open Bunduk’s door, and the familiar snoring reached his ears. Abel furrowed his brows. He was really a little angry. They had gone through a lot of trouble to come to this small town, and their goal was to find the real culprit who framed Devitt and the others. However, ever since Bunduk arrived at the inn, no matter how one looked at it, he looked listless. Most of his time was spent on sleeping.

“Commander Bunduk! It’s time to get up!”Abel walked to the side of the bed and shouted at the sleeping Bunduk.

The snoring finally stopped, and Bunduk’s body moved. But he had no intention of waking up.

Abel sighed and reached out to shake Bunduk. “Bunduk, wake up! We’re going on a mission!”

After a while, Bunduk opened his eyes in a daze. He raised his head and said to Abel, “Abel, what are you doing?”

“I’m waking you up,”Abel said, looking at Bunduk strangely.

“AH.”Bunduk stared at Abel in a daze for a while. He sighed and said, “I had a nightmare just now.”

“What Did you dream about?”Abel sat down beside Bunduk’s bed and asked.

“I dreamed that the people on this island were fighting. “I don’t know why, but you were among those who were fighting. “I went to pull you, and you even beat me up. “Then, the two of US fought, and then, you died.”

After describing the entire dream, Bunduk looked at Abel timidly.

“You… can’t express yourself.”Abel was stunned, after a while, he replied, “Also, why was I the one who died in the dream? As a mage, how could I be beaten to death by you?”

“I don’t know either.”Bunduk shook his head and replied, “I only remember that my hands were covered in blood…”

Looking at Bunduk’s guilty expression, Abel relaxed his tone, he comforted him, “Don’t mind it. It’s just a dream. I still have the self-awareness that I won’t go against you. Quickly get up and wash up. King Kant has been waiting for you for a while.”

“… Okay.”Bunduk watched Abel’s back as he left and patted his head with force. Actually, the reason why this dream happened was related to his daily thoughts.

For some reason, the way he looked at Abel became strange recently. He felt that Abel’s behavior was very suspicious.

“My brain is really broken…”bunduk frowned and whispered.

“Abel, come here and sit down.”Kant was studying the medicine bottle in the medical box. When he saw Abel walk out of Bunduk’s bedroom, he immediately asked him to sit down in front of him.

“Your Majesty…”after Abel sat down according to the instructions, he saw the bottles and jars placed in front of him and called out awkwardly.

“Don’t worry, I only looked through them out of curiosity.”Kant raised a small bottle of white ointment in his hand and explained, “You only need to apply this.”

“HMM, that’s good.”Abel heaved a sigh of relief and said.

“For a mage like you, if you don’t care about the root of the illness that usually happens when you are injured, it will also cause great damage to your body.”Kant opened the bottle and exhorted Abel.

“It can’t be that serious… ah…”halfway through Abel’s explanation, he felt that the ointment on his back was like a burning fire, and he couldn’t help but cry out.

“Are You Alright?”Kant asked with concern. “This ointment has a good effect. It’s just that at the beginning, it will have some special effects.”

“I’m fine,”Abel replied, pursing his lips tightly.

After washing up, Bunduk sat to the side and said while chewing on a piece of bread, “Abel, why didn’t you go back to bed yesterday?”

“I fell asleep while sitting here reading the notebook.”Abel glared at Bunduk and said while clenching his teeth.

“Ah, right. I haven’t read that notebook yet.”Bunduk suddenly remembered the mission Kant had given him last night and said in surprise.

“It’s too late to read it now.”Kant looked at bunduk helplessly and said, “Come and help me apply the ointment. We have to leave early later.”

“I’m sorry,”Bunduk said apologetically to Abel.

After saying that, he put down his breakfast, squeezed a small pinch of ointment into his hand, and massaged Abel’s neck.

“It’s okay.”Abel looked at him helplessly and nodded.

Kant walked to the door, rang the bell, and called the waiter who was in charge of cleaning up the tableware.
