  Zhang Zian was infuriated with the mermaid. He took a few deep breaths to calm himself down before he yelled out towards the bottom of the tower. “Just say it. What do you want?”

  “Aiyo, why don’t you come down first? You’re not the one talking with your head raised up.” She rolled her eyes and began to massage the back of her neck. “Oh, my neck…”

  Zhang Zian glanced down the beach and saw a few black spots jumping between the rocks––it was Fina and the rest. They were far nimbler than he was when it came to traversing across the rocks, so there was no need to worry about them.

  Zian reluctantly walked down the lighthouse steps and appeared in front of the mermaid. He looked at her through the game capture interface. Despite his anger, he could not deny that her face had no flaws.

  “Okay, go on. What’s the matter?” Zian asked.

  She frowned and asked, “Ajeossi, I have a question for you… Is this Spain?”

  “Don’t call me Ajeossi. I’m forever 18, not an uncle!” Zhang Zian corrected her mistake before he answered her question. “Spain? Did you go the wrong way? This is Germany. We are far from Spain!”

  “Mwoya?” Her mouth was wide open from shock. “Germany? Ottoke? Ottoke? Ottoke? I swam in the wrong direction, now my oppa won’t be able to find me… Wu…”

  Her eyes began to turn red as tears started to well up in them. Although Zhang Zian was unhappy about the fact that she would always call him uncle, she was still half girl. “What’s wrong? Did you swim in the wrong direction? Were you heading to Spain?” he asked nicely.

  “Nae.” She wiped the corner of her eyes and nodded as she said, “I swam here from the north. I had been swimming for a very long time before I reached here. I took a short break on the shore because I was so tired… I thought that I had made it to Spain and that I could finally see my oppa. Why is this Germany instead…”

  Zhang Zian busted out laughing. “You wanted to swim all the way to Spain with your directional dyslexia? I’ll advise you to give up on that. If you were to continue swimming, you’d be swimming all the way to Poland… I heard that it is not safe over in Eastern Europe. Black market dealers are especially fond of selling naive little sweeties like you to America as sex slaves, so you better be careful… Although, you are a fish, so who knows if there are people with such unique tastes…”

  She hugged her shoulders in horror. “Omo! I want to see oppa. I don’t want to be a sex slave!”

  Zhang Zian found her to be quite interesting when she behaved in this manner. Of course, he was just scaring her earlier. In fact, ordinary people were unable to see her, let alone catch her as a sex slave. Even Zian himself had to look through the game capture interface to see her.

  “Why don’t you explain in detail how you got here… and why do you want to go to Spain?” Zian squatted down and asked out of curiosity.

  She gave it a thought while resting her chin on her hands. Her pose made her look ridiculously cute, but it was all ruined the moment she opened her mouth.

  “It’s because that’s how the story goes. I will meet oppa in Spain, then with oppa, I’ll go to Seoul, South Korea and experience some twists and turns before living a happy life!” She nodded her head with approval. “It’s Seoul––international metropolis. Oh, Ajeossi, you haven’t been to Seoul before, right? I feel sorry for you!”

  There were too many things to complain about in her previous words, but Zhang Zian was concerned about the plot that she had mentioned. “What plot? Where did you see the plot from? A novel?” he asked.

  “It was on the television!” Her face lit up with a bright smile. “Television––I like watching television!”

  Oh!

  Zhang Zian finally understood the situation after all the guessing and assumptions. So it was like that.

  “So, after you, little fellow, became an elfin, you somehow watched a Korean drama that got you brainwashed and you ended up thinking that you were the mermaid in the television series?”

  Her facial features were obviously those of a typical European, but she continued to insist that she was a Korean mermaid… Speaking of which, the brainwashing influence that Korean dramas had was too strong. Even an elfin got brainwashed. They were really worthy of being named alongside Hollywood movies, Japanese anime, and China’s web novels as one of the four major cancers of the world’s culture!

  “I was not brainwashed! I am the mermaid in the television series! Don’t you know about reincarnation? Right, my name’s Sihwa. It means to bloom with a radiant beauty in the world, so stop calling me this little fellow! Ajeossi, you’re really rude!” She glared at Zian.

  Zhang Zian did not follow up with her words, but instead asked, “Then can you tell me––how many times did you watch that Korean drama?”

  “Nae…” With her lips pursed, she thought about it before she said with uncertainty, “I only watched it about ten times… then I couldn’t help but try to swim to Spain and look for oppa!”

  Holy sh*t! Ten times? No wonder the Korean accent!

  Zhang Zian had no more energy left to complain.

  She scratched her head furiously. “Why? Why did I swim here to Germany? Oh right, Ajeossi––which direction is Germany in from Spain?

  “It’s northeast of Spain. You don’t even know your directions, yet you still plan to swim there? You won’t make it there even if you swim to your death.” Zhang Zian laughed.

  In that moment her emotions hit rock bottom. Her eyes turned red again. “Wuwu. Can I still make it on time if I swim to Spain now? Will my oppa wait for me in Spain?”

  “I’d advise you to give up on that idea… it’ll be about a year later by the time you swim to Spain. Your oppa would have already left.” Zhang Zian suggested, “How about this––isn’t your final destination Korea? Why not just swim to Korea?”

  In that moment of sudden realization, she patted her head and smiled with approval. “Arasso! Couldn’t see that you’re actually quite smart! Kamsahamnida, Ajeossi!”

  Right after that, she jumped into the water, and with only her wet, dripping head out of the water, she clenched her first and encouraged herself. “Sihwa, fighting!”

  Without waiting for Zhang Zian to stop her, she plunged into the water and disappeared. Only a string of bubbles was left behind her.

  “Ga? She left just like that?” Richard said in astonishment.

  Zhang Zian was really impressed with the busty, brainless mermaid. She could have at least found out where Korea was before swimming off!

  Swimming from the North Coast of Germany to South Korea was quite an epic feat!

  “Don’t worry, she’ll be back.” Zian sat down on the rock again, quietly waiting for the mermaid to return. After all, there was no one else she could ask for directions.

  Richard expressed its doubts.

  Sure enough, not even two minutes later, the mermaid stuck her head out of the water with a splash. She then wiped the water off of her face and, as she laughed foolishly, said, “Ajeossi, I forgot to ask––which direction should I swim to reach Korea?”

  Richard covered its face with its wings. The mermaid was too much of a fool for him to bear!

  Fina and the others had made they way over. Jumping down from the rocks, they all looked at the mermaid and were amazed as her dark green, curly hair floated around her like seaweed.

  The mermaid was also looking at them and the last one she laid her eyes on was Fina. She pointed at Fina and said, “I heard that out of ten orange tabbies, nine are fat, and one is so fat that it breaks the bed! You’re that fat orange tabby that broke the bed, right?”

  Holy sh*t! Zhang Zian and the other elfins were all dumbfounded. The mermaid had no restraints with her words and mentioned that which must not be mentioned!

  Ottoke=What should I do?

  Nae=Yes

  Arasso=I got it

  Omo=Oh my

  Kamsahamnida=Thank you

  Mwoya=What?
