Xia Meilin and Lu Yifeng started preparing for their wedding and just like what Xia Meilin wanted, there were only a few people that were invited…… to be exact, it was around thirty.

  Since both didn’t want to wait long before they can get married, their marriage was scheduled two weeks after they talked about having a proper marriage.

  Xia Meilin and Lu Yifeng’s wedding was held in the five-star luxury hotel located in Ravello, Italy. Since Hotel Caruso was one of the most picturesque towns on the coastline of Ravello, it features an eleventh century Duomo and clusters of medieval, flower-filled alleyways. The hotel was one of Italy’s most elegant Wedding destination and just like any other women who dreams of getting married there, it was always Xia Meilin’s dream to have a wedding there.

  The hotel offers fifty guest rooms, most with sea views. Because of its hilltop position, the beautiful and breathtaking view of the sea was seen.

  Aside from the limited guests that were invited, the staffs responsible for photography, styling, and makeup rushed towards Ravello for the wedding.

  Inside the wedding suite, Xia Meilin was wearing a strapless, white wedding dress of semi- embroidered fabric accentuated her thin waist. The dress was pleated and dragged across the floor. The wedding dress was custom-made and was valued at a few million dollars since it was the best design from the Rosarium’s global collector’s edition. Xia Meilin was wearing earrings and necklace, both from T&V’s premium collection. Finally, her shoes were a pair of crystal glass high heeled shoes that were adorned with a feminine bow design.

  Xia Meilin’s bridesmaid was only Nian Jiezhen who was wearing a beautiful baby blue-line dress which showed off her shockingly long and unique legs.

  "So, when do you plan to have your wedding?" Xia Meilin asked with a grin plastered on her lips.

  "Hm…… after eight years I guess." Nian Jiezhen answered with a serious face as she received Xia Meilin’s veil from the makeup artist and helped her put it on.

  "Ah…… I suddenly feel sorry for Ren Shiyuan."

  The reason why Nian Jiezhen was chosen by Xia Meilin to become her bridesmaid was because she took a bullet to save Lu Yifeng. Aside from that, because of Nian Jiezhen’s cool work, Xia Meilin started seeing Nian Jiezhen in a different light.

  "You know, if you made him wait long, he might get tired and break up with you." She looked at her underneath her veil.

  Nian Jiezhen furrowed her brows, "Are you trying to jinx my relationship with him?"

  Xia Meilin shrugged her shoulders, "Who knows? But to be honest, one thing I know about Ren Shiyuan, he is not a very patient person. He’ll definitely try to persuade you from time and time again before you know it."

  "Then I guess I will have to teach him how to wait."

  "What if finds someone else?"

  Nian Jiezhen lowered her head. She has given a thought about it already if that thing happens then…… "I do not have the power to stop his feelings. If he can find someone else, then I’ll let him go."

  Xia Meilin shook her head, "Bitch, you need to learn how to protect what’s yours. If you love him, you have to fight him."

  The sound of a slap resounded throughout the room which made the makeup artist and hairstylist surprised. Well…… Nian Jiezhen was surprised too.

  She snapped out of her trance and held her stinging cheek, "Xia Meilin, are you crazy?!"

  "Nian Jiezhen, you need to take your relationship with Ren Shiyuan more seriously! I understand that you value your work more than anything but that doesn’t mean you have to forsake everything else just because of it! Don’t throw away the effort Ren Shiyuan is giving you! I have the right to say this on behalf of Ren Shiyuan because he is also my friend!"

  Nian Jiezhen clenched her fists as she looked away. Although she hated to admit it, she knew that what Xia Meilin said was right.

  The quiet room was disturbed when Xia Meilin’s phone started ringing. When Xia Meilin looked on it, she saw Li Bingbing’s name on the screen.

  Because of Li Bingbing’s situation, she couldn’t attend her best friend ceremony but……

  "Damn girl! You look extra beautiful!" Li Bingbing exclaimed from the video call. In the video call, she had messy hair and she was breastfeeding her daughter, Xia Mengjie.

  Xia Meilin couldn’t help but smile when she saw Li Bingbing, "Can’t you at least dress prettily today?"
