"I have to go now, Meilin." He turned back to his laptop.

  Even if Xia Meilin wanted to say more, all she can do was nod and force out a smile. "I love you."

  His lips curled up into a gentle smile. "Mm…… I love you too."

  After the video call ended, Lu Yifeng turned to Lu Xian Yu. The gentleness he had on his face earlier was now gone.

  "Where is she?" This was the first thing that Lu Xian Yu asked when he faced him.

  "I can’t tell you where she is until this matter is solved."

  Lu Xian Yu’s eyes were cold and blank, his usual playfulness was gone. Because of his messy blond hair and the dark bags under eyes, it made him look restless.

  "Then why not capture her now? Why are you still allowing her to walk freely around the place?" Lu Xian Yu said through gritted teeth.

  "We will deal with her through legal means." Lu Yifeng was sure that Yong Biqi will still be sentenced a death penalty when she will be captured by law enforcement.

  "Legal means? Then you should go ask for someone else’s help, not mine!" Because of the lack of sleep, Lu Xi’an Yu’s temper was being affected.

  "I can do that but are you sure you want that?" Lu Yifeng calmly said before he took one of the files he was working on. "Do you still want to know where she is?"

  Lu Xian You has sent his men to look for her but he never expected that Li Bingbing was good in hiding. Even his own hacker couldn’t find anything about Li Bingbing. This could only mean one thing…… There was a big possibility that she changed her name.

  He tried searching for Xia Sinian instead. Even if he didn’t want to admit it, he knew that wherever Xia Sinian was, Li Bingbing will be there.

  Yong Biqi might be smiling and Lu Yifeng may have a blank look on his face but the atmosphere between the two was heavy.

  Lu Yifeng noticed that Yong Biqi’s temperament was the same as Xia Meilin. In a group, she was quiet and would only talk when someone was talking to her. She was like a predator, watching her prey’s movements closely without making it obvious.

  "Good evening, Mr. Lu."

  Kang Lin was introduced by Ming De earlier as his niece and she was warmly welcomed by everyone. She was a well-known model in the entertainment industry.

  Lu Yifeng gave her a nod in acknowledgment but he didn’t say anything.
