Ren Shiyuan couldn’t help but facepalm himself. "Are you really a special agent?"

  "Huh?"

  "How can you be one when you’re this dense?"

  She narrowed her eyes and glared daggers at him. "Are you insulting me?"

  He wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his face in her chest and nuzzled it. "So flat…… Do you know that massaging them can help them grow? Do you want me to help give you a massage?"

  Her face instantly became so red when she heard him say that. "As if you’re not flat yourself!"

  He laughed lightly as he finds her amusing. "It’s normal for me." He held her chin and pecked her lips softly.

  She turned her head and huffed as she crossed her arms. "As if it is. Besides, I’m not totally flat. I have cute size breasts!"

  He slipped his hand her shirt. "May I see?"

  Nian Jiezhen stopped him by holding his arms. "Do you want me to kick you out of here?"

  Xia Meilin took a peek in the living room. When she saw how intimate they are, she couldn’t help but grin. She took her phone out and stole a picture of them.

  It looks like both of them was doing well. Xia Meilin couldn’t help but wonder on how Nian Jiezhen will react if she finds out that Ren Shiyuan was actually a girl?

  Not wanting to disturb the two, with her quiet steps, she entered the kitchen to get some food for lunch.

  "Are you going to attend and watch the runway?" Ren Shiyuan asked.

  "I’m not sure. I’ll be going back to work in the same week."

  She rolled her eyes. "I can’t skip my work just to see you." She sighed. "You know, now that I think of it…… I don’t think this relationship will end up well for us."

  "Didn’t we discussed this earlier already?"

  "I know…… but I really think that because of our occupations, we can’t work this out. You’re a model slash an actress, I’m pretty sure that when your work here is done, you’ll go back to China. As for me, I am an agent. It takes time to solve a case and because of that, I’m not going to be around that much."

  Because of the points she said, Ren Shiyuan realized that it will definitely be hard for them. The one hundred days trial will be useless for both of them since whenever they were at work, they will definitely focus on it and make it their priority.

  Nian Jiezhen rested her head on his shoulder. For some reason, she felt a prick in her heart when she thought that they have to end whatever they were feeling for each other already.

  "We can still try to work this out. The long distance relationship may be hard but I can come to visit you sometimes." He stroked her hair. "I do not love you and you do not love me, we’re together because we wanted to find comfort from someone who can understand us."

  Nian Jiezhen closed her eyes and sighed. She almost forgot that they were together because of that main reason. She pulled away from him before she stood up with an indescribable look on her face.

  When did it start? When did she start feeling less hurt whenever she thought of Lu Yifeng? Ren Shiyuan was definitely right…… if they have each other then they can really distract themselves from the people they love.

  She smiled a bit as she looked at Ren Shiyuan who was looking at her in confusion. "If I ended up falling for you, will you catch me?"

  He blinked a few times. Loving someone else was a different matter for him but…… if it was Nian Jiezhen, then he doesn’t mind since she was a person who can understand him.

  "I’ll take responsibility if I made you fall for me."

  Take responsibility? So does that mean that he’ll just force himself to her? She may fall for him but that doesn’t mean that he will love her back, right?

  She walked towards the window and that the snow has stopped falling and a snow removal truck passing by. "The trial relationship…… let me think about it first."

  Just like what he said, they were only there to comfort themselves and to distract themselves from the people they really love.
