"Momma, you started it this time so you should apologize to sister Jiezhen later, okay?" Little Melon said while he was hugging her from the side.

  Xia Meilin frowned at this. Apologize to her? No way! "I was just stating the truth, baby. Truth hurts."

  "But momma could still have said it in a nice way." He rubbed his cheek on her tummy. "Momma’s always telling Mello to be good so momma should be good too. If momma is going to be like this, you’ll be a bad example for other kids."

  "Oh? Other kids? Aren’t you a kid yourself?" She chuckled.

  "Mello’s always a good boy."

  She smiled and stroked his soft hair. "Yes, you are."

  "So momma should be a good momma. Baby sisters can hear you, you know." Little Melon lightly patted her tummy.

  "Okay, okay. I will behave." She chuckled lightly. "Did you know that daddy has given them names already?"

  "Really?" His eyes sparkled in delight. "What’s their names, momma?"

  "Lu Xingyan and Lu Weichun, they have pretty names, right?" She grinned. "Xiao Xing and Xiao Chun."

  "Xiao Xing and Xiao Chun……" Little Melon turned to her bloated tummy and smiled happily. "I bet they’ll be pretty like their names."

  "I’m sure they will be."

  Meanwhile, inside the dressing room……

  "Calm down, princess. You’ll get a lot of wrinkles if you keep on frowning like that." Ren Shiyuan chuckled.

  Nian Jiezhen huffed. "Every time she opens her mouth to say something, it’ll always be something against me. I’m already trying to be a nice babysitter for her."

  "Yes, yes. Just be patient with her, honey. She’s preggy." He smiled. "Now then, turn your back to me."

  Nian Jiezhen obediently followed while pouting. She looked at Ren Shiyuan’s reflection from the mirror in front of her. Ren Shiyuan’s really tall…… she’s not even wearing heels.

  When Nian Jiezhen fixed her hair to one side, Ren Shiyuan ended up staring at her porcelain skin that looked so smooth. He held the zipper while he brushed his fingers against her soft skin as he pulled it up.

  Nian Jiezhen felt a chill run down her spine when she felt his touch against her back. She couldn’t help but blush. When she saw how red her face became from the mirror, she quickly lowered her head.

  Why was she blushing?! She’s not a lesbian! She’s straight! STRAIGHT! How can she have such a reaction just because of a simple touch from another woman?!

  When Ren Shiyuan zipped her dress, the dress hugged her body. He looked at her reflection and smiled. He bowed his head and whispered softly. "See? You look beautiful with this dress."

  Nian Jiezhen raised her head and stared at her own reflection. The white A-line dress with black lace applique was just a few inches above her knees. It was simple yet sophisticated and it made her long legs and her small waist standout. She never expected that there was a dress that can make her look elegant.

  Ren Shiyuan’s eyes fell on her beautiful pair of long legs. Her pale legs were smooth and fine like jade’s.

  When Nian Jiezhen noticed that Ren Shiyuan was staring at her legs, her face started heating up again. She squeezed her legs together. When she did, Ren Shiyuan moved his eyes to look at her face.

  He noticed how uneasy she became so he backed off and smiled instead. "You’ve got a beautiful pair of legs. Make sure to take good care of them, okay?"

  Nian Jiezhen’s heart started racing and her blush went deep because of his compliment. She wanted to hide away from him!

  She’s straight! She’s straight! She’s straight! She kept on telling herself.

  "Come, let’s show this to Meimei and Mello." He smiled.

  Nian Jiezhen ended up frowning again when Xia Meilin was brought up. She turned and faced him. "Do I have to show it to her?"

  Ren Shiyuan laughed lightly. He touched the space between her brows with his thumb and smoothen the crease that was formed when she frowned. "No frowning, okay?"

  Nian Jiezhen ended up staring at him because of the closeness of their faces. Ren Shiyuan was more beautiful up close. His long lashes, his high nose, his skin, everything was so perfect!

  When Ren Shiyuan pulled his hand away, he noticed that Nian Jiezhen was still staring at him so he ended up staring back at her.

  He was used in seeing beauties like hers so he wasn’t really entranced by her beautiful face. But even if that was the case, he couldn’t look away from her.

  "I’m straight." Nian Jiezhen suddenly said out loud.

  Ren Shiyuan ended up blinking a few times because what she suddenly said. "Huh?"

  When Nian Jiezhen realized that she said her thoughts out loud, her face became as red as a tomato.

  She turned away from him and went out of the dressing room out of embarrassment.

  Xia Meilin and Little Melon raised their heads to look at her. Because of her red face, they couldn’t help but wonder what happened inside.

  Did Ren Shiyuan make a move? Xia Meilin wondered.

  "Wow! Sister Jiezhen is so pretty!" Little Melon exclaimed as his eyes started sparkling.

  Ren Shiyuan went out of the dressing room and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed.

  Xia Meilin turned to Ren Shiyuan with curious eyes. What did he do?

  Ren Shiyuan noticed the way Xia Meilin looked at him. He shook his head lightly as if telling her that he didn’t do a thing.

  "You should always wear dresses like this, sister Jiezhen!" Little Melon said happily.

  Nian Jiezhen chuckled a bit. "I can’t wear dresses like this if there’s no occasion."

  "You don’t need an occasion to wear dresses, honey." Ren Shiyuan said from behind.

  Nian Jiezhen turned and blushed when she saw him. This didn’t escape Xia Meilin’s eyes. Something must have happened! Why would Nian Jiezhen turn red if nothing happened?
