At first, Tang Jinyu thought of returning to the scene of the explosion to check it out. However, after hearing what Steve said, he turned around and returned to the tent.

  When Tang Jinyu pushed the curtain of the entrance aside, he suddenly stopped moving.

  His gaze was met directly with the young lady who was about to draw the curtains open.

  Jian Qi thought that Tang Jinyu would have probably gone to meet with the senior officer in the anti-terrorism team to discuss about work. She was almost certain he would not return in a short amount of time.

  However, unbeknownst to her, fate was never predictable.

  When fate came knocking on the door, there was no way one could avoid it.

  After blinking several times, Jian Qi smiled at Tang Jinyu.

  Meanwhile, Tang Jinyu stared at her coldly before retracting his hand. “Follow me!” He uttered in a lowered voice.

  Jian Qi took a deep breath. He did not sound friendly at all.

  After they had walked out of the tent, Jian Qi began speaking. “Instructor Tang, I would like to go to the washroom!”


  Tang Jinyu stopped walking as he turned around to stare at her. The look in his eyes sent chills down Jian Qi’s spine.

  Just as Jian Qi was beginning to think Tang Jinyu might ask her to hold it in, he suddenly started walking in the direction of the washroom.

  Jian Qi raised her brows. Was he going to accompany her?

  When she looked at the man’s cold figure from behind, she knew very well that he was doing this to monitor her every move.

  Once they arrived at the washroom, Tang Jinyu waited somewhere not too far away. Jian Qi hurriedly entered the washroom.

  When she came out, she noticed that Tang Jinyu was staring in another direction. She wondered what was on his mind.

  Jian Qi’s instincts were telling her that she should not mess with Tang Jinyu right then because it was extremely dangerous to do so.

  Subconsciously, Jian Qi decided to slip away. However, as soon as the thought occurred, Tang Jinyu’s cold gaze shifted over to her instantly.

  Jian Qi chuckled playfully without appearing awkward at all. Swiftly, she ran toward Tang Jinyu with a smile. “Instructor Tang, I was just testing if you could detect me leaving. I can’t believe our hearts are this connected. I was just about to move when you looked over!”


  “Come over here!” Tang Jinyu ordered. While a cool vibe surrounded Tang Jinyu, there was a strong aura of dominance about him even when he was not expressing anger.

  With a chuckle, Jian Qi followed Tang Jinyu as she continued to ponder in her mind. ‘Did Tang Jinyu really discover something?’


  This whole thing seemed far too odd.

  While Tang Jinyu walked in front, Jian Qi followed right behind him. In less than a minute, the two quickly discovered that someone was following them from behind.

  The two of them began walking more quickly in unison. When Jian Qi saw Tang Jinyu running, she began doing the same to catch up.

  Since they were surrounded by trees, it was quite easy to shake off a tail. On top of that, since they were deliberately doing so, they were able to quickly shake off the anti-terrorist who was following them.

  Once again, they arrived at the top of the hill. Jian Qi was feeling a little nervous right then.

  Why must they always come to the peak to have a conversation?

  Was it because Tang Jinyu wanted to end her life if they had a disagreement?

  “Instructor Tang, why did the anti-terrorist follow us earlier?” Jian Qi asked with a chuckle.

  As Tang Jinyu stared at Jian Qi, he ignored her question. “Jian Qi, I just found out about something. Would you like to hear about it?”


  “What is it?” Jian Qi acted cooperatively. “As long as Instructor has something to say, I am willing to listen to you for a lifetime no matter what it is!” She responded in a flirty manner.

  Tang Jinyu snorted. “After the explosion earlier, the anti-terrorists ended up losing all of the bullets they had found at the scene!” He said seriously.

  Jian Qi was stunned for a moment. Who acted even faster than she did?

  ‘What is this?’


  ‘Is heaven on my side?’


  “You seem a little surprised, but also a little excited at the same time!” Tang Jinyu commented coldly.

  Jian Qi. “.……”


  ‘Instructor Tang, what an excellent observation!’
