When Tang Jinyu asked the unexpected question, Jian Qi was shocked.

  “Why do you ask, Instructor Tang?” Jian Qi remained calm. “Didn’t you tell us about them before we came?”


  “All I did was greet the person we will be working with out of politeness!” Jian Qi looked at Tang Jinyu with a serious expression. “Are you jealous, Instructor Tang?”


  “Shouldn’t you be asking me about the invitation sent to me by the Eagle Organization?”


  As Tang Jinyu looked at Jian Qi, he began to speak coldly. “Well then, you better start explaining in detail. How did you end up receiving an invitation from this organization? Moreover, the Eagle Organization has always presented itself as a security company to outsiders. You seemed to have known immediately that this was a mercenary organization.   Tears streamed down her face as if she had been put through a lot of misery.

  His harsh tone had become somewhat gentler. “I’m not yelling at you. Why are you crying?” He sounded helpless.

  “Alright, stop crying.” Tang Jinyu took a deep breath as he pursed his lips in a fatigued manner.

  “Little Tang Tang, you were furious……” Jian Qi said as she directly reached out with her hands to hug him, wiping her tears and snot against his chest.

  Tang Jinyu sighed before patting her back. “Stop crying……” He said in a very soft voice.

  While Jian Qi hugged him, she began to smile. A barely noticeable look of victory appeared in her eyes.

  If she had known crying was this effective, she would have cried every single time to get her way with him!

  After a while, Tang Jinyu sensed that the girl in his arms seemed to have calmed down. Therefore, he pushed her away and looked at her. “Now, can you answer my earlier questions?”

  ‘I wish a lightning would strike me and kill me on the spot!’ Jian Qi cursed in her mind.
