Jian Qi smiled happily as she looked at Tang Jinyu’s back. “Instructor, are you shy?”

“Jian Qi, get lost now if you don’t want to die!” Tang Jinyu said coldly. Then, he quickened his pace and left.

At first, Jian Qi wanted to go after him. In the end, she chose to go to the infirmary after taking a look at her hand.

She wanted her hand to heal sooner.

She now realized that she could not allow herself to get injured so easily next time.

With injuries on her body, she would not be able to do a lot of things, thus limiting herself in many ways.

The doctor helped Jian Qi to bandage her wound again. He told her what she needed to be careful of. “Don’t ever let your wound get wet. It’ll be infected.”

Jian Qi nodded and positioned her arm properly. Then, she asked the doctor in a serious manner, “Doctor, I want to know if there is any way my hand could be healed completely so I would be able to move it around freely.”

She could ignore the other minor injures on her body. Those wounds would be healed as time went by. It was fine even if it hurt.

However, she needed to ensure that her hand could be healed completely. There must not be any complications.

In the past, she was a sniper. She fought with Li Yibo this time around and she knew that Li Yibo would not ruin her hand even though he did break her arm.

As such, she could remain calm even though her hand was broken by Li Yibo.

However, it did not occur to her that she would be able to face those people again so soon.

It was strange given how she had died before. She needed to investigate it. Moreover, she still had a lot of things which she was unsure of. As such, there must not be any problems with her arm.

Furthermore, she wanted to get stronger. At least, she wanted to be as strong as she was before.

The doctor could not help but smile. “Young lady, your hand will heal slowly. Why are you in such a rush?”

“Do you have any methods?” Jian Qi asked.

Her serious face surprised the doctor. He smiled and said, “Yes, don’t move it around. Don’t get it wet. Take your medicine on time.”

  “Just like that?”

The doctor remained calm. “It’s much better than if you move around all the time. You need proper rest given your injuries. Moreover, you need to limit your movement even if you want to move around. That said, you have training on a daily basis. It’ll heal slower that way.”

Jian Qi frowned after listening to the doctor’s explanation.

‘Don’t move around all the time.’

Although it was difficult, she was able to do it if she wanted to.

“Understood!” Jian Qi expressed her gratitude and left the infirmary.

She took a glance at her hand. She promised herself not to move it around.

She wanted it to heal sooner.

Soon, a week went by. All Jian Qi did in the meantime was use her brain. She rarely used her stamina.

Now, she could put her arm down. However, the doctor still advised her not to put too much force on her arm.

Jian Qi listened to the doctor obediently. She did everything the doctor asked her to do.

Needless to say, it attracted the others’ attention.

It was noontime. Jian Qi was having lunch at the cafeteria. She put her left arm aside and was only used her right arm. It was as if her left arm had been completely incapacitated.

In addition, Tang Jinyu also noticed Jian Qi’s peculiar actions.

He did not know that Jian Qi would sacrifice so much just because she wanted to go to the front lines. He knew very well how active and energetic she was.

The way Jian Qi treated that left arm was just like how she would treat treasure. She seemed to be afraid of causing any discomfort to her left arm.

At night, they had their training. Tang Jinyu called Jian Qi over and asked her, “Do you want to go to the front line so badly?”

Jian Qi nodded her head. “Yes.”

“Give me a reason!” Tang Jinyu asked her. Then, he stared at her, like he wanted to see through her very being. He wanted to know her true thoughts and intentions.
