When she saw Mia took out such a strange little thing, for a moment, Vidomina had thought that she was going to to give up. Therefore, without suspecting anything, she momentarily stop casting any spell to wipe that sticky slime off her face that had almost glued her eyelids together. Since the Silence Spell could last for along duration on lower level sorcerers, it was more than enough time for her to wipe her face clean first before focusing on Mia.

” Vidomina quickly spat out the slime that had entered her mouth and cast a cleaning spell, Cleanse, on her face before rinsing it off. She moved a few steps away from the original spot, leaving a big puddle of white sticky slime on the floor.

After she had done all that, Mia was still locked in the Silence spell holding the hammerhead shark doll tightly while she continued to moan and sob pitifully.

“Seriously! If I’ve known earlier that you’re not protected against the Silence Spell at all, I would’ve cast this spell a lot earlier and save myself from all this hassle!” Frustrated, Vidomina mumbled to herself while taking out a scroll and announced to Mia loudly, “Alright, Mia, time for you to surrender now. Or otherwise, let me warn you. This spell is going to hurt when it hits you!”

Even though Mia was wearing some protective equipment, Vidomina no longer believed that she would be able to break the Silence Spell with her equipment.

  Vidomina thought to herself.

In the face of Vidomina’s persuasion, Mia firmly shook her head in rejection before squeezing the fins of her hammerhead shark doll and raised it up high over her head. It seemed like she was trying to say something and from the shape from her mouth, it was probably something like……

Looking at that scene, Vidomina suddenly was overcome with an urge to laugh. The hammerhead shark doll was soft and furry, with its belly snowy white, undoubtedly very adorable and she was really tempted to rub her face against it.

“You still refuse to surrender? Alright, fine! Seems like I’ll have to take you down and snatch your cute little hammerhead shark plushie over then!” Vidomina was confident that she already had victory within her grasp, prompting her to say such arrogant words.

“URGHHHHH!” The moment Mia heard that someone was trying to snatch her hammerhead shark doll from her, she was so anxious that she almost cried out loud. She quickly attempted to put the doll back into her pouch, but at that time, the doll appeared to be moving by itself all of a sudden, as if it had heard the cries of Mia’s heart. With a leap, the plushie broke free of Mia’s grasp and flapping its two short fins, it swam swiftly in the air towards Mia’s head.

Momentarily, the two girls who were watching the bizarre scene seemed to have forgotten that they were both in a ring battling each other. Instead, they looked like two friends enjoying the performance of a cute little toy. The elder started to feel a cold chill running down his spine as he watched the scene that was unfolding in front of his eyes. An ominious feeling suddenly plagued him. The moment the doll became active, he instantly could feel a sense of deadly aura enveloping the whole arena. Without delay, he tried to find a way to warn Vidomina. The girl had completely ignored his advice and forcibly put herself in danger by casting the Silence Spell and the match had completely gone out of his control.

Still, he was one step too slow. Before he could open his mouth to warn Vidomina, a complicated yet beautiful formation— an formation that had no runes on it at all— gradually started forming around the mouth of the harmless looking hammerhead shark doll. That usually indicated that a terrifying spell was about to be released.

“Watch out, Milady!!” The elder shouted out but his words was instantly drowned under the loud screams of the spectators. Under the spectator’s eyes, the hammerhead shark doll began to show its true nature.

Arrows of hydromissiles, torrents of icebullets, streams of water suddenly erupted out of thin air and densely stacked together to form a wall made of water. An attack with the momentum of a torrential tide— or tsunami— was raging towards Vidomina with its turbulent waves, enveloping her silhouette completely under the shadow of the majestic wall.

At once, all of the spectators held their breath, including the elder and the president as well. Only those who were in the Void were judging the attack, facilitated by their ability to exchange consciousness with each other.

“That’s quite impressive but it’s still too slow!” The Sorcerer approved of the orthodox magical offensive spell.

Why did you turn my Aurora’s Mercy into something so unpleasing to look at? Urgh, there is no sense of beauty at all……” The Explorer complained looking at such brutal and merciless technique.

Even the Second Walker, the Knight, who usually felt it was beneath him to talk to the Voidwalkers, piped up suddenly, “This scene reminds me of that artifact called ‘ Peacock Feather

  ‘.……”

At that moment, Vidomina knew that she was already at the end of the tunnel. There was no way she could do anything in such a short period of time other than activating the Energy Absorption Shield on her equipment. Within seconds, she was completely engulfed by the stream of water and even though her high-grade equipment was indeed very luxurious, it was not entirely specialized in protection. In the face of such huge and fierce attack, her equipments were just like a toy that had no applicable functions as her Energy Absorption Shield on her pink robe completely ruptured at once. Everything happened so fast in a blink of an eye without that she didn’t even have the chance to cast Watershield. It was all that she could do to use her Mana Shield to brace herself from being completely washed away.

Yet, all those were fruitless resistance. No matter how speedy her equipments could assist in her Mana recovery, it still could not keep up with the terrifying consumption speed of her opponent’s offensive spell. Within seconds, her Mana Shield was shattered and the incoming attack relentlessly rained on Vidomina and just like a discarded broken doll, she was thrown all the way to the edge of the ring.

And if it wasn’t for Baiyi who forcibly interrupted the spell in time, it was highly likely that she would already be dead from the overwhelming attack.

It could be seen that there was no fairness and moderation in the weapon that was created by all the Voidwalkers.

The spectators were all stunned by the episode unfolding in front of their eyes. The whole arena instantly became silent as the grave. When was the last time they witnessed such terrifying magic? And who would have ever thought that they would come across such magic in their lives? A seemingly ordinary cute doll that turned out to be a super powerful magical tool?

Similar to the spectators below, the referee who was watching the whole scene beside the ring was dumbfounded as well. It was only after a few seconds later that he finally came to his senses and realized that he should announce Mia’s victory. Just as he intended to enter the ring to end the match, Vidomina who was severely beaten suddenly began to crawl as she tried to stand back up.

Her hands and her legs were all shaking in a convulsive fit. Her face was pale due to the excessive consumption of Mana and her lips were red from being bitten in her attempt to stand back up again. Even the beautiful pink robe was torn and ragged from the attack, revealing a large area of fair skin underneath that flimsy materials.

Even though she had been reduced to such a state, Vidomina still refused to give up. It seemed like the girl who was born with a golden spoon in her mouth had a much stronger and impressive determination compared to most of her peers!

As luck would have it, there were no injuries at all to her body. It appeared that her equipment had managed to protect her well.

“Vidomina, your Mana is fully exhausted and most of your equipments have been damaged. I don’t think you should continue this battle anymore!” The referee who was standing by the side advised.

Although she could not longer breath properly, by sheer will and determination, she forced herself to stand up and uttered, “I-I’m not yet d-defeated! M-My admission to…… t-to The Door of C-Conundrum is at stake…… h-here! M-My father w-will…… H-How can I be…… be d-defeated in this p-place!” Rummaging through her storage pouch, she took out her last trump card— a Summoning Scroll.

At that time, realization hit the elder, who was rushing towards the ring, as he saw Vidomina holding up the scroll. With no other choice, his feet slowly came to a halt. Heaving out a heavy sigh, he shut his eyes in concentration.

“Eh?” Mia who was still bound in a state of silence was a little surprised to see the last scroll that Vidomina had pulled out. Puzzled, she could not understand the situation at all.

Even though Mia could not cast any spell at all due to being silenced, she could still at least activate the shield that was on her equipments.

“F-Forgive me…… M-Mia! I-I hope you don’t die……” Vidomina muttered under her breath and using her last ounce of energy, she crushed the scroll into pieces as she powerlessly fell onto the ground. Stubbornly keeping her eyes opened, she wanted to witness her final victory with her own eyes.

“What the hell is this? What threat is she trying to pose by activating a scroll in this kind of situation?” Baiyi disdainfully scorned at the side of the ring. But his body tensed up right away.

“SH*T! This is a Summoning Scroll!” He immediately shouted out loud wanting to warn Mia. The girl was still locked in the Silence spell so it would be almost impossible for her to fight against a summoned beast, let alone a beast that might run amok under the control — or

  — of a summoner who was still in a state of trance. In that case, Mia’s life might be in danger!

It was Baiyi’s turn to be a step slower. Before he could do anything, the Summoning Scroll was already activated and followed by the sudden appearance of several complex runes and formations, a huge figure slowly emerged in the middle of the ring. From the iconic marks of its body, the beast turned out to be no other than the Lindworm that was a native to the realm of Gouve.

The Lindworm was a dragon sub-species with a pure-blood lineage originating from the Gouve. Even though it could not perform any magic— it was categorized as a wild beast rather than a magical beast— with its brutal strength and strike intensity, it was considered as one of the most formidable among all beasts. Coupled with its cruel and merciless nature, it was absolutely a deadly threat for Mia who was unable to cast anything.

“H-How is this possible? That girl is

a summoner! How is it possible for her to summon a creature of that level by just using a Summoning Scroll! What’s more! Look at

state that she’s in right now! This is basically impossible!” The Soul Armature Practitioner who was also a summoner in his past life almost yelled out in puzzlement.

Throwing a dirty glance towards the elder who was standing in the distance with his eyes closed, Baiyi sneered, “How

you pulled this move on me?! There’s no need for me to be nice to you anymore! Guys, decide whose turn it is right now to enter the battle!”
