When Chen Xiu came to know that Chen Shu was the President of Huarui, he was shocked and began to think about one thing: How could he make his relationship with Chen Shu better?

His relationship with Chen Shu was distant. He dreamed of having a connection with President Chen. Since he now knew that Chen Shu was President of Huarui, he must take advantage of this.

Chen Xiu and Chang Ying discussed with each other and formed a plan to find an opportunity to invite Ye Sui and Chen Shu to have a meal. During the dinner, he would first show his great courtesy and win the favor of the couple.

Afterward, he would say a lot of good words and continued to reduce Ye Sui and Chen Shu’s wariness. Finally, he would offer to reconcile with them, and Chen Shu would agree.

Chen Xiu’s big plan was considerably deep and was ready for implementation.

So, Chen Xiu dialed Chen Shu’s number and started his grand plan. “Third Uncle, I want to see you. There are things that we need to talk about in person.”

Chen Shu paused for a few seconds before agreeing. Chen Xiu breathed a sigh of relief.

On the day of dinner, Chen Xiu and Chang Ying arrived early in the restaurant’s private room. They sat there and kept an eye on the door.

After a while, the door opened, and Chen Shu and Ye Sui came in.

Ye Sui glanced at Chen Xiu and Chang Ying. After the auction that day, Chang Ying must have realized Chen Shu’s identity. She would like to see what they wanted to do during today’s meal.

As soon as Chen Xiu saw them, he pulled Chang Ying, and the duo stood up in greeting.

Chen Xiu looked at Chen Shu’s face and showed a courteous smile. “Third Uncle.”

Then, Chen Xiu looked at Ye Sui and sincerely said, “Little aunt.”

The smile on his face was brighter than before.

Ye Sui was stupefied for a few seconds before raising her eyebrows. Chen Xiu’s attitude today was not the same as usual.

In the past, whenever he saw her, he would either have a cold face or be cocky. In his eyes, she was nothing.

Noticing Ye Sui’s lack of response, Chen Xiu held Chang Ying‘s hand and whispered, “You greet.”

Cheng Ying opened her mouth but didn’t make a sound. She still couldn’t thicken her face to address Ye Sui as Little Aunt.

Seeing that Chang Ying was not cooperating with him, he became a little anxious, whispering in her ears, “Didn’t we agree beforehand?”

Ye Sui sneered in her heart. She looked at Chen Shu and cunningly winked at him. Then, she deliberately said, “It seems like today’s meal is impossible. We will leave first.”

Chen Shu immediately understood Ye Sui’s intent. “It’s meaningless.” His tone was quite heavy.

Ye Sui pretended to leave. Chen Shu also cooperated with her and turned around.

Chen Xiu was as nervous as a cat on hot bricks. He kept squeezing Chang Ying’s hand with increasing strength, making her almost cry out in pain.

Chang Ying also thought Ye Sui and Chen Shu would really leave. And if they did leave, what was the point of today’s meal?

Chang Ying hurriedly opened her mouth, but it was still a little awkward. Her voice was the same as a mosquito’s, which could barely be heard. ”Little Aunt.”

Ye Sui took a few steps. She then turned around and glanced at Chang Ying leisurely, the corners of her mouth turning up. “What did you say? I didn’t hear you.”

Chang Ying felt sullen. She was willing to put aside her pride to call Ye Sui aunt, yet the other party was not content to accept her greetings! Seeing that something was wrong, Chen Xiu squeezed Chang Ying’s hand, reminding her to consider the bigger picture.

Chang Ying couldn’t help but greet her again. This time, her voice was quite clear. “Little Aunt.”

Only then did Ye Sui plaster a smile on her face and sit back with Chen Shu.

Chen Xiu looked for a reason in regards to Chang Ying’s behavior. “Chang Ying has recently caught a cold, and her throat is a little bad. So, she spoke a little low just now. Little Aunt, please forgive her.”
