“Welcome here, Earthlings!” a low voice said.

When Ling Jiu looked over, he saw bloody light dripping down from the blood moon in the sky and forming a bloody humanoid.

It was less than one meter tall, with a pair of demon-like wings growing on its back, a single horn on its forehead, and dark eyes. It was blood-red all over.

  “You are……”

Ling Jiu stared at the humanoid closely. He had probably guessed who the humanoid was, but he was not so sure.

“I am the brain of this battleship. You can call me Leoux.”

The demonic humanoid spoke slowly in standard Chinese, to Ling Jiu’s surprise. “1269 just told me you passed the Emissian test, didn’t you?”

“If the Emissian test refers to the absorption of dark bio-energy in the dark universe and becoming a stellar life form, then I have indeed passed it,” Ling Jiu said.

“I will see.” Two black lights flashed in the eyes of the demonic humanoid Leoux before it disappeared into Ling Jiu’s body. A few seconds later, Leoux nodded slowly. “It is indeed pure dark bio-energy!”

Leoux smiled. “Awesome. I have been in the solar system for 60,000 years, have launched 10,081 exploratory spacecraft, monitored 1,081 habitable planets, and set up 1,081 assessment points. I finally see a qualified person.”

“10,081 exploratory spacecraft?” The number stunned Ling Jiu.

“Since you have passed the test, then you are a qualified Emissian warrior, qualified for the inheritance of the Emissian civilization,” Leoux said slowly. “But before getting the inheritance, there is one thing that I must make clear to you.”

  “I am listening.”

“Our Emissian civilization might have prospered before, but it has been destroyed because it has provoked its powerful enemy. Once you accept the inheritance, you will surely become the enemy’s target of annihilation. They will try every way to kill you and even your civilization,” Leoux said in a low voice. “This enemy has great power. It not only occupies a vast territory but is also the most powerful force in the universe. So, it is up to you if you want to accept the inheritance.”

Ling Jiu frowned. “That is to say, once I accept the inheritance of the Emissian civilization, I will have a horrible enemy waiting for me out of nowhere?”

  “That’s right.”

“The risk is high indeed.” Ling Jiu nodded slightly. “Can you tell me what exactly I can get after I receive the inheritance of the Emissian civilization?”

There are risks and returns in doing anything. The decision would lie in weighing the pros and cons to see if the return is worth the risk.

“You are very rational,” Leoux said. “After you accept the inheritance, you can get all the technology of the Emissian civilization, as well as massive training resources.”

“As long as you have a certain level of talent, these self-cultivation resources can at least help you attain cosmic life form.”

  “Cosmic life form?”

Ling Jiu’s heart skipped a beat. Cosmic life form was one division of the cosmic civilization. They were planetary, stellar, galactic, super-clustered, perfect three-dimensional, and cosmic life forms.

“In other words, as long as I accept the inheritance, I can at least become a cosmic life form?” There was light in Ling Jiu’s eyes. He could almost not hold back his excitement.

“Of course, as long as you accept the inheritance, everything in the Mothership, including my brain, will be yours,” Leoux said. “Think about it if you want to accept it. I won’t compel you if you don’t. But I will erase all your memories of the Emissian civilization.”

“There is no need to think,” Ling Jiu said. “I accept the inheritance of the Emissian civilization!”

“Congratulations! You have made your choice.” Leoux nodded slightly. “You are a real Emissian warrior from now on. Of course, you are also the only Emissian warrior.”

Leoux took out a bracelet and handed it to Ling Jiu.

“This is the control bracelet of the Leoux. You can control everything about the Leoux with it, including my brain, of course.”

“The Leoux?” Ling Jiu was puzzled.

  “It’s this Mothership,” Leoux said.

  “Interesting.”

When Ling Jiu put the bracelet on his wrist, he felt a tingling pain. Many small needles appeared on the surface of the bracelet and drew his blood.

After that, the bracelet turned into fine black water and slowly permeated Ling Jiu’s wrist. The magical thing was, Ling Jiu could still sense the existence of the bracelet, which would reappear with just a thought.

The even more amazing thing was, he faintly felt that he and the Mothership had become one in body as he could see everything in the Mothership in his mind’s eye.

“The Mothership is so massive!” Ling Jiu muttered to himself. “It’s almost a planet!”

“You are right.” Leoux nodded slightly. “As the Immortal-class battleship, the Leoux adopts the most advanced space folding technology, and its internal space is comparable to the largest planet.”

“Leoux, what are those corpses in the Mothership?”

Ling Jiu looked at the black land ahead. He “saw” countless black crystal coffins, inside which were corpses.

“Those are the bodies of the Emissian.”

Leoux said quietly. “When the Leoux escaped back then, it carried over one thousand Emissian minors as seeds, intending to let them carry on the Emissian civilization. It’s a pity that the enemy didn’t let them go, and killed them from a few galaxies away!”

“Kill them from a few galaxies away?” Ling Jiu was stunned. “How could they kill the Emissians from such a distance? How much strength they needed to do that?”

“The power of the top life form in the universe is beyond your imagination. They have understood the rules of the universe, and they can ignore the distance with the help of the power of the rules.” Leoux sighed. “That is to say, the Leoux was fast and strong enough in defense. Otherwise, it was impossible for it to escape.”

“All right.” Ling Jiu nodded, looking in another direction. “Is that the treasure vault of the Emissian civilization? I saw a lot of treasures.”

“It is.” Leoux nodded. “There are some resources stored in the treasure vault. These resources were originally for the one thousand Emissian teenagers. But it’s a pity that they couldn’t use it anymore. So these resources are now yours.”

Ling Jiu swallowed. “Leoux, get those things that are useful to me out now.”

  “There is no hurry.”

Leoux shook its head slightly. “The resources are limited after all. You need to make full use of these resources so you can become a really powerful one.”

  “Full use?” Ling Jiu frowned.

“I just checked. You might have barely reached the category of the stellar life form, but it is only in terms of physical body,” Leoux said. “Your dark bio-energy cultivation base is still at a very low-end level. This is your shortcoming and needs to be remedied as soon as possible.”

  “So?”

“So you have to improve your cultivation base of dark bio-energy as soon as possible.”

Leoux waved his hand and took out a dimensional ring.

“There are ten dark bio-energy crystals stored in this dimensional ring. You can absorb these dark bio-energy crystals to raise your cultivation base first.”

  “OK.”

Ling Jiu nodded. His arcana cultivation base was too weak to keep up with his physical cultivation base, which was a fact and something he needed to fix as soon as possible.

“We will study the next self-cultivation plan after you have improved your arcana cultivation base,” Leoux said. “So your priority now is to absorb the dark bio-energy crystals and become a real stellar life form.”

“Understood.” Ling Jiu nodded and then looked in another direction. “I heard 9527 say that you have a lot of bodies or remains of top cosmic life form.”

“What do you want these for?” Leoux was puzzled.

“For Spawn Split,” Ling Jiu explained. “I have the Spawn Split ability of the Flame Astral Behemoths, but I lack the bodies and remains of top life forms.”

“What? You have that ability?” 9527 was shocked.

“I actually have only one ability, which is Arcana Replication.” Ling Jiu smiled faintly. “But because of this ability, I have replicated many Arcanas, such as Dimensional Arcana, the arcana to form wormholes, Time Halt, Ultimate Physique and Inner World of the Flame Astral Behemoths.”

“Arcana Replication? I didn’t know that there is such an ability,” Leoux murmured. “In other words, no matter what abilities other beings have, you can replicate them and use them as your own?”

  “That’s right.” Ling Jiu nodded.

“What an incredible ability!” Leoux’s eyes lit up. “With this ability, your potential is even more terrifying than the real Emissian genius.”

“Maybe.” Ling Jiu smiled. “There must be some bodies or remains of the top cosmic life form on board, right?”

“Of course.” Leoux nodded. “As the top biological civilization in the universe, our Emissian civilization sees all top life forms in the universe as our objects of study. We of course have collected many bodies of the top cosmic life form as experimental materials.”

It shocked Ling Jiu to hear that. “Can you give them to me?”

“Of course, I can. But as far as I know, a Flame Astral Behemoth can spawn up to three splits at most. The number is limited. So, make your choice,” Leoux said.

  “What is your suggestion?”

Ling Jiu frowned. His knowledge of the top cosmic life form in the universe was as good as none. With so many top life forms in the universe, he really did not know how to choose.

“Low-level life forms account for the vast majority of life in the universe. But that doesn’t mean that the terrifying and powerful life forms are few.”

While speaking, Leoux swiped the air with his hand, and a blood-colored light curtain appeared. It listed the names of many races.

  Frostkin

  Crystallid

  Blackholer

  Flame Astral Behemoth

  Saiyan Golden Ape

  The Machine

  Cave Barbarian ……

Ling Jiu gave the list a once-over. There were hundreds of races. He was a little overwhelmed.

“Different races have different abilities. Some have a tough body, some energy beings, some ever-changing…… Wait a minute!” Leoux said. “In view of your incredible ability to replicate, my suggestion to you is three more extreme races.”

  “Tell me.”

  “One, Blackholer.”
