However, these monsters’ flight abilities were acquired naturally and not through the Divinity Crystals. Thus, they would not lose their flight abilities even when hit by the Tier 5 AoE attacks.

  In other words, flying pets were the Winged Champions’ kryptonite in airborne dogfights.

  Therefore, when they saw the Demon Faction’s flying pets approaching from afar, the Angel Faction immediately sent all their Winged Champions flocking towards the streets and roofs. It was as though they had known that Demon Faction would do this from the start and had been preparing for this very moment.

  In mere minutes, all the airborne enemies that the Demon Faction were facing earlier had all failed to stay in the air and had went down to land.

  This shocked Berserker Lord and other League Leaders, who were following the flying monsters from behind.

  “Hmph, can you see that?”


  Death Jesus turned and smirked, “The Angel Faction had prepared to go on the defense from the start. And you were foolishly trying to wait it out.”

  Berserker Lord was speechless.

  He thought the Angel Faction was so forceful in advancing that he had to try holding the line for a little longer. He didn’t think they would retreat away from the sky this easily.

  That’s so eerily weird.

  However, this was exactly what they needed. There was no way the Angel Faction would be able to hold off their retaliation—a retaliation from over a hundred thousand Demon Faction players!   It’s not possible for him to evade their Elementalists’ Elemental Perception and Archers’ keen eyes.

  Still, just as Berserker Lord was starting to feel better…… something peculiar happened!

  As thousands and thousands of Demon Faction’s Winged Champions had flocked into the airspace of the west side of Sin City…… when a huge chunk of Champions suddenly lost their Demonic Wings and fell to the ground. Elementalists, Warriors, Archers, Priests, Summoners…… everyone!

  It was so sudden that not even an ounce of Mana surge was felt. So many of them had no idea what happened the moment the battle system told them that they had lost their flight abilities.

  As for the flying pets, most of them were already carrying their owners—so it was impossible for them to carry another person……

  Hundreds and hundreds of champions fell from the sky while the players who were riding their flying pets stared in horror…… if they fell down from this height, they would be gobbled up by the enemies on the ground almost immediately!

  Countless Elementalists dropped with a splat to the ground even though many of them had tried to perform an emergency landing on the roofs and roads using the various kinds of magic they had under their belts……their enemies had been anticipating this on the ground. As soon as they fell from the sky, these darn Angel Faction players hurled showers of magic and physical attacks to the skies……

  In the meantime, on the other side of the west walls…… something similar was happening too. Over hundreds of Demonic Wings suddenly disappeared! In an instant, several hundred Demon Faction champions lost their balance in the air and were pulled downwards by a strong gravitational force.

  “Shit!”


  “Oh fuck!!!”


  Shrieks of horror could be heard everywhere as the now grounded Winged Champions, save a few Aeormancers and champions that were quick to summon their own flying pets, were slaughtered entirely……

  Berserker Lord and the League Leaders immediately got the news.

  Over two hundred Winged Champions were killed in mere seconds……

  They had not only lost hundreds of men in this attack, countless other valuable equipment had also fallen into enemy hands. It was a devastating loss!

  “How is that possible? There were two people that could use Gravity Field?”


  Berserker Lord was stunned……

  Indeed, he had also been anticipating the Angel Faction to have a player that could use “Gravity Field”. Yet, he didn’t think they had two players that could do that!

  More importantly, the Gravity Field had become mobile…… surely enough, wherever it moved, more and more Winged Champions fell from the skies.

  It was a bloodbath!

  Naturally, this were the works of Xin Yu’s “Little Eye” and Black Rock.

  They were assigned to two sides of the west walls to pull the Winged Champions to the ground using their Gravity Fields……

  The Gravity Fields had encased at least two hundred meters in the area!

  In those two huge circles, all the flight abilities that the Divinities had granted were stripped away. The champions from the Five Leagues had received warnings beforehand and thus retreated to the ground, laying ambushes for the enemies.

  It was basically free Honor Points and equipment that they could loot up. Not stopping at that, Violet Orchid had also ordered them to advance with the mobile Gravity Fields…… as the Gravity Fields covered more and more areas, even more Winged Champions fell to their deaths.

  About four hundred Winged Champions were doomed in the hands of Little Eye and Black Rock. The Demon Faction’s perfect retaliation plan had been entirely crushed……

  “Quick!”


  Death Jesus barked furiously as he dashed to the frontlines with the other League Leaders, relinquishing duty of Commander back to Berserker Lord.

  It had been twenty minutes since the Angel Faction had taken a foothold in the city. If they didn’t give it their all, Demon Faction’s Leagues would all go up in a fine cloud of ashes……

  The flying pet army in the sky also knew how dire the situation was—if all the Sixteen Leagues had their Honor Points wiped clean, it would be an utter nightmare for their faction.

  And so, they immediately flocked towards the Gravity Fields’ ground!

  However, Xin Yu and Black Rock each had a group of Tier 5 Champions as their bodyguards.

  The streets and roofs were guarded by these elites. It was not easy for them to get close.

  A huge splinter of violet lightning fell from the sky and struck several Demon Faction players; the moment it hit its target, it unmercilessly split to five violet Electric Webs, ensnaring the Demon Faction players that were in their paths!

  Homme Fatale lazily eyed the enemies and monsters that fell to the ground, paralyzed by the Electric Webs. Then, he shot another round of attacks at the other enemies in the air.

  As for the other survivors? They were being taken care of by someone else. A huge bald man was zooming around with his Angelic Wings in the air, slaughtering every enemy that had been shot down by Homme Fatale.

  Looking at the crushed heads on the ground, the surrounding allies couldn’t help but to feel a strong urge to throw up.

  “Steel Dude…… could you just not do this? We don’t really mind it that much…… but you’re scaring the little girl over here.”


  Of course, the complaint didn’t come from Homme Fatale—he had seen so many grotesque corpses and was indifferent to them. The one who was grossed out by Steel Dude was Permanent Lock. Seeing Xin Yu turn her back to the bloodbath that was going on, he couldn’t help but call out in protest.
