  Finally, it was time to face the Heaven Peal Lion.

  There were no other distractions.

  No Specters…… No Heaven Peal Beasts……

  There were only the Heaven Peal Lion and Qin Ruo in the massive belly of the volcano…… one man versus one beast!

  Even though it was battling large quantities of Skeleton Dragons and Vampires for a dozen minutes, the Heaven Peal Lion was not visibly wounded. This was due to its incredibly sturdy defense stats and also the aid of its red Heaven Peal Beasts.

  However, when faced with this human invader alone, the lion appeared to feel an imposing pressure. Firstly, this human Aquamancer was able to completely evade its powerful Divine Aria. His combat prowess was exceedingly formidable. Then, there was that little golden beast that stood on this human’s shoulder. This “thing” was also another threat that the lion seemed to be intimidated by.

  The Heaven Peal Lion flapped its red bloody wings and stared at Poochie, seemingly trying to recall something. ( .c om )

  However, Qin Ruo was not about to give the Heaven Peal Lion a “time out”. This Ultimate Boss had depleted its MP after launching so many blasts of Divine Aria and also fighting with the Undead Horde. In other words, it would not be able to cast any other powerful magic skills during this short period of time. This was Qin Ruo’s biggest advantage. He must not waste this chance!

  After defeating the Heaven Peal Beasts, Qin Ruo swiftly took out the Dark Gold grade necklace—the Eye of Galbis and switched with the Frostsoul Necklace that was around his neck.

  As it saw the necklace on his neck, Heaven Peal Lion’s eyes suddenly widened.

  ‘That’s…… That’s the Cyclops Commander Galbis!

  ‘Did…… did this human……?!’


  Qin Ruo did not pay attention to the Heaven Peal Lion’s reaction and just busied himself with switching his accessories. Then, he lay his eyes on the lion. Several seconds later, the half-opened Eye of Galbis suddenly opened up completely.

  The skill “Galbis’ Glare” was now activated.

  As soon as the skill Galbis’s Glare was activated, the Heaven Peal Lion felt its limited MP starting to drift away from its body at 2 MPs per second.

  The Heaven Peal Lion finally could not hold in it anymore. It let out a furious roar and spread its wings and dove from sky, charging whatever Mana that was left in its palms.

  However, as the lion was moving toward Qin Ruo something weird happened.

  Qin Ruo suddenly stepped a few meters forward from where he stood and the charged up Mana in the lion’s palms suddenly vanished into thin air as a weird blue light flashed before the lion’s eyes.

  Mana Drain!

  Qin Ruo’s first move was to drain away whatever MP that was left within the Heaven Peal Lion, canceling the skill that it was about to hurl at him.

  Losing its Mana, the Heaven Peal Lion was immediately castrated—it had no means to cast element and assault magic. The only offensive option that it had under its belt was merely close quarter melee attacks.

  Now, Qin Ruo finally was able to relax. The sign that his opponent’s magic was being forcefully canceled was a clear indication that it had no more Mana left. Now, this Level 46 Tier 4 Ultimate Boss was no more difficult to handle than a Tier 5 Megaboss or perhaps, much easier than that.

  If it was melee combat, Heaven Peal Lion was not as proficient as Poochie. The lion’s melee attacks were limited to several simple basic attacks—making them indefinitely weaker than Poochie’s various melee strikes.

  Poochie turned into a golden ray again and rammed into the Heaven Peal Lion with a tremendous force. The lion’s body, as though being hit by a moving high-speed bullet train, was thrown into the air almost immediately.

  As Heaven Peal Lion was falling down from the sky, Qin Ruo had his eyes locked onto the falling lion as he charged up his water elements……

  Twelve Frostramparts activated!!!

  Growwwl!!!!!!!

  After a long growl, Lycan Barrages were also hurled from Qin Ruo’s staff.

  The Heaven Peal Lion was utterly trapped in the Twelve Frostramparts by the perfect collaborated attacks by Qin Ruo and Poochie: the former skillfully commanded Lycan Barrages to land strike after strike on the lion while the latter stroke out series of combos like Shadow Clone Attacks, Shadow Execution, Shadow Razors, Shadow Drill, and Shadow Howl.

  The Lycan Barrages were already powerful as they were. Yet, Qin Ruo had used his Darkfrost Potion, Special Roasted Snails before taking on the Boss. With the frozen environment, his damage was now over thousands! And all the MP he was spending was merely a dozen MP per second. The MP cost was insignificant when he had in surmount of potions in his Ring of Honor.

  The poor Heaven Peal Lion was unable to perform whatever an Ultimate Boss usually could. It gradually succumbed to the attacks of Lycan Barrages and Poochie’s ass whooping as it found itself trapped by the Twelve Frostramparts. It had no means to retaliate at all.

  Eventually, after letting out a long furious and bitter roar, the mighty Heaven Peal Lion thudded in the middle of the Frostramparts. Then, equipment, treasures, and gold coins piled up all around the lion’s lifeless body. Qin Ruo had won.

  The system message did not say anything about the attribute that was unlocked. However, Qin Ruo was still overjoyed and he was also too busy collecting his loot too—he did not have time to check the attributes at the moment.

  Aquamorph.

  Remembering what happened in the cave earlier, Qin Ruo liquefied his body and then, fused with water elements in the area and extended his liquid body into the surroundings. Every equipment and loot that were dropped by the Heaven Peal Lion all vanished into thin air as the “liquid” touched them. He was so quick that even the mischievous Poochie, who was collecting loot for his master, was slower than him.

  After a flock of system messages popping up, Qin Ruo extended his reach and sent his elongated liquefied arms toward the battle site of the lion and Specters earlier and then, droves and droves of treasures flooded into his ring’s inventory space.

  Thank goodness for this Ring of Honor! If he did not have this precious ring, he would not be able to haul these treasures back at all.

  As Qin Ruo was hauling the treasures and loot into his ring, Poochie was enthusiastically leaping around while eyeing the treasures below it, almost like appraising them.

  A minute later, Qin Ruo had finished looting everything that was in the volcano and deactivated his Aquamorph. As he slowly spread out his Angelic Wings, Qin Ruo saw Poochie excitedly carrying a scroll in its mouth.

  After receiving the “scroll” from Poochie’s mouth, Qin Ruo realized that this “scroll” was in fact one unique treasure map—one that most likely was related to an Underworld side quest. As Qin Ruo shook the map around in disgust, Poochie was anxiously waiting for a praise from his master, agitatedly shrieking and laying on its back on his shoulder.

  After gliding out of the volcano vent with Poochie, Qin Ruo then remembered to check his Ring of Honor. The unlocked attribute was……

  The ability to mimic anyone the ring bearer could imagine-this includes changing the appearance, the class of the ring bearer. The ring bearer could also mimic his / her skill to appear like any skill from the seven elements. After “Mimic” is activated, the ring bearer could customize his or her new identity, this includes: name, appearance, class and etc.

  The ability could trick the perception of anyone that is lower level than the ring bearer and also the Bosses that are higher level than the ring bearer. Only when the ring bearer was in close distance from certain monsters or Boss, the disguise will then be broken.

  Reading this, Qin Ruo was stunned. His mind was completely empty as he set his Angelic Wings to flying to Camp Edgar on autopilot—completely forgetting about activating Aquamorph and Aquawings.

  After half a minute, Qin Ruo then finally came to and was overjoyed by this!

  He could use this ring to disguise his appearance and identity? And he could even disguise as a monster? And he could also disguise his attacks too?

  Holy crap!

  This would mean that, even if he entered combat status, his disguise would still be in effect too. And this skill did not cost any MP too……

  Then, something weird occurred……

  As they were about to grab this winged human and tear him into pieces, his eyes flashed an eerie blinding white light. Then, the human vanished under their noses. In the meantime, a “lone vampire” appeared in front of them, flapping its dark bat wings and stared at them anxiously.
