  Many of the low-level training spots in H&G were brought to life by a large number of Pets—vibrant and bustling with noise and excitement! At the same, it stirred up new conflicts and troubles in some players!

  From the very first day that this large number of pets spawned, some players had quickly realized that they would not be Wanted or have the red-tagged status if they launched Hostile attacks on other players’ Pets. The only thing was that the Pet’s owner who was under attack would gain 180 seconds of Counter Stance.

  Soon after the loophole was announced, the low-level Pets that just hatched had quickly become the target of many hostile players.

  There were actually plenty of senseless people in this world who would build their happiness on someone else’s pain. How disappointing! Another type of player who would attack these monsters was those with strong animosity toward a targeted player, seeking vengeance. Lastly, some battles were no more than conflict rose during their Pets’ level upgrade which eventually evolved into acts of revenge.

  Not far from Savis Town, a Hostile attack suddenly broke out as everyone fought to be the first to attack……

  A melee Pet of an Elementalist was apparently left behind as it was only capable of slaughtering a couple of monsters after a long while. Even so, this player endured on as it would be the same scene playing at other training grounds. Moreover, his Pet might not gain any experience for training at an advanced training spot (Experience shared to the Pet depends on the damage dealt onto the monsters).

  The one thing that annoyed him the most was the fact that new players that just entered the field were snatching away his “prize”. Those new players were utilizing their monster’s long-range attacking capability to just attack any monsters they could see. As the monster demand overtook supply, two of them even specifically aimed at the monsters around the Pet of this Elementalist. This Elementalist ended up not earning his fair share of experience for quite a while.

  In a fit of rage, the Elementalist lashed out at those players. To his great dismay, those players did not even feel the slightest regret but broke into a harsh, derisive laugh instead.

  “Haha, you are such an idiot for getting this dull-witted pet!”


  “Hey, we are talking about you! You idiot! You actually chose a bear as a pet, I must really take my hat off to you, haha……You don’t own the monsters here, what’s wrong for me to kill them? You can just leave if you can’t stand this, stupid.”


  “Get rid of this silly bear, his big body is blocking my sight!”


  “Haha……”


  The few players laughed wickedly and had given “special care” to the dull-witted bear of the Elementalist. They would slash all monsters who walked near the pet at any cost, even disregarding the monsters around them. Seeing this, the Elementalist who was miserable beyond words could no longer repress his anger.

  Infuriated by this insult, the Elementalist recalled his Pet, turned to look at the Pets of these low-level players and sent a fireball streaming toward the mobs around those Pets. Kill steal! As he was a Tier 4 Pyromancer, his fireballs could easily kill a monster within a split second.

  This had worsened the situation as the current monsters were already very limited…… However, this Elementalist was careful as he knew that he could not offend the public and cause a commotion. Hence, he was only attacking these players who humiliated him. Pyromancer’s magic condensing speed was extremely fast. Streams of fireballs rolled forward, one after another.

  Stamping with rage, one of the Berserkers could not take it anymore rushed over and launched two Fusion Blitz with killing intent, knocking him down……

  “Try and kill steal again! I dare you!”


  In bewilderment, the players around them stood gazing at each other.

  ‘Ah, this Berserker actually possesses Honor Points. It is no wonder he is so bold.’


  Not long after, the Pyromancer returned. Without uttering a word, he activated dual defense, a triple Tier 4 offensive spell—Rolling Inferno……

  Before anyone could react, the arrogant Berserker was smashed to the ground.

  Naturally, the Pyromancer was not red-tagged either……

  He killed him!

  None of the other players dared to walk near the training grounds……

  Not only that, the Pyromancer stomped toward the Berserker’s comrades as a giant fiery palm descended from the sky—Firegod’s Fury!

  The strength of the attack was so powerful that it smashed two low-level Pets, which trapped them in the ground and reduced most of their HP.

  “Crap!”


  “You have sought your own demise!”


  “Kill him!!”


  The players groaned in rage. The Pyromancer merely sneered as he took out his Magic Scroll……

  “Firegod’s Fury!”


  At this time, the two Pets that were scorched turned into monster roast!

  “Holy shit!”


  “Third and fourth brother, kill him!”


  The eyes of the two Pets’ owners reddened as they groaned in despair. They quickly activated Combat Aura and Berserk and dashed toward the Pyromancer. Not waiting for them to attack, the Pyromancer turned to his back, thrust few pieces of Pyroramparts behind him and fled to Savis Town which was not far away.

  Standing aside, Qin Ruo witnessed the whole affair. He could feel fear lingering in his heart. Touching his nose, he thought to himself, ‘Poor pets that died a tragic death. It is fortunate that my little Poochie is no pushover and has grown up soundly. Tsk tsk…… Young people these days are really bad-tempered.’


  This incident was, however, a good lesson for Qin Ruo.

  Killing a Pet was allowed. He should never summon his Pet unnecessarily for it would be a target of Hostile attacks. Even though his Poochie possessed 3600 HP, where there’s a will there’s a way. Moreover, Pets could not be healed or enhanced with potions and once they were in Combat Status, they could not be recalled. How troublesome!

  Entering the Snow Domain, Qin Ruo felt a strong sense of security just by wearing the Dark Gold Falling Sakura Snow Robe, with the Violet Wintry Vajra’s Gaiters hidden underneath. With the Aquamancer’s own Water Resistance and up to 113-115 Magic Defense, 10% Water-damage Reduction, 10% Water-damage Absorption, the Water magic of a Tier 4 monster could literally do nothing to Qin Ruo.

  At present, even without Barrier and Darkfrost Shield, Qin Ruo could easily slaughter the monsters in Snow Domain while remaining safe and sound by merely casting some simple elemental spell.

  Firstly, his current equipment had increased the speed of magic condensation by 41%. With the affinity in Snow Domain, a Tier 4 Lycan Barrage was cast in just two seconds……

  Lycan Barrage could truly deal a crushing blow.

  It was capable of causing more than 650 damage to the monsters in Snow Domain that had strong resistance Water magic, with each attack resembling a wolf’s skull. Coupled with Qin Ruo’s Elemental Perception, each attack was perfectly hitting into the most vulnerable core of the monster.

  He learned all this from Slayer’s Heart.

  With the Elemental Perception, Qin Ruo could even fully understand the monster’s movement and attacks down to the last detail. Coupled with the extremely fast Lycan Barrage, he was unstoppable.

  It was five casts in a row! Five continuous attacks! Alas, the Winter Wendigo could only last less than six seconds!

  More and more players stopped to watch Qin Ruo. From afar, they stood frozen as they watched in awe at his skill. Seeing this, Qin Ruo launched a Frostburst, activated Aquamorph, and disappeared without a trace.

  “Crap!”
