  The Emerald Plain

Qin Ruo came over to Mikel’s side in annoyance.

With Xiaoxiao’s reminder, Qin Ruo did not use the Sacred Potion but instead the attribute-effect of the Great Tree Sap and Aquaheal to craft a one-day Soulblood. Even if he did farm a huge amount of Soulblood, the result was still far from expectation––he intended to farm for three whole days and obtain the high-level item from Mike.

Little did Qin Ruo know that……

On the first day, Qin Ruo was only capable of gaining a total amount of one hundred and thirteen Soulblood on a farming spree, restless and sleepless.

On the first day, Qin Ruo was only capable of gaining a total amount of one hundred and thirteen Blood of the Souls on a full-forced farm, restless and sleepless.

If the time took for eating and sleeping on the second and third day, and the few Redemption Points spent on buying Great Tree Sap were to be taken out, the cumulative number of points on these two days were not many. Additionally, the high-level item was worth 100,000 points……

Even farming Legendary equipment that was worth 50,000 points in a short span of three days, was beyond Qin Ruo’s capability.

Clearing his mind, Qin Ruo could not help but stop his intention to farm more Soulblood. He had completely given up his goal of using points to exchange for the high-level item and Legendary equipment. As he paused and pondered over some of the useful equipment in Mikel and Isabelle’s collection while calculating the required Redemption Points, Qin Ruo sank into silence!

Of all the items in Mikel’s belongings, the one that was useful for an Aquamancer was very limited. Hence, Isabelle must go there again…… in exchange for the Skill Book––Lycan Barrage.

There were, yet, another two items that were more pragmatic and useful––the Great Tree Sap and Special Roasted Snails. As both were both costly and consumable, it would be enough to spend only a few thousand Redemption points on them. After all, they were rarely used during normal days.

With the remaining points, not only were the pricey items not obtainable, but the cheaper items were also not worth spending on as they were farmable. Hence, there was no need to for such expenses.

Although it was possible that some Gold equipment with good attributes or even one to two prices of Dark Gold equipment could be farmed in three days, one level up in the Graveyard of the Gods was equally appealing to Qin Ruo.

Qin Ruo stood irresolute. Was it to stay here for the reward of one or two pieces of Dark Gold equipment? Or delved further into the higher level of the Graveyard of the Gods for exploring more mysterious rewards?

After considering for a long while, Qin Ruo clenched his teeth tightly as he made the decision.

Once the Skill Book Lycan Barrage reached his hands, he would spend another 8,000 points for sixty bottles of Great Tree Sap and one hundred Special Roasted Snails. Then, the remaining 3,200 points were meant for exchanging the Summoning Mana Core in Mikel’s possession.

Each Summoning Crystal Core was worth 1,000 points and was equal to Gold equipment with good attributes. The strength of the monster sealed within was no doubt pre-eminent and fearsome––Monsters in the Demigod-tier champion’s collections that could be summoned in the Graveyard of the Gods were never “regular dudes”.

As for the last 200 points……Qin Ruo spent it on a Magic Scroll.

A Magic Scroll that any Elementalist could use—”Blink”! (also known as Teleport. With a Magic Scroll, one could travel to any places in sight and the range was much larger than Teleport.)

These three Summoning Mana Cores could help Qin Ruo to advance to level five of the Graveyard of the Gods! If he was lucky enough, Blink could help in gaining some high-level drops from the Graveyard of the Gods.

  ***

Two hours had passed and everything was in order. His gaze swept across the Emerald Plains, the land that was rich in numerous pleasant encounters. He gave a soft sigh as he turned on the Return Scroll and left reluctantly.

The sky was full of radiance as dazzling lights spread across the sky radiating in all directions. It was the unprecedented grand occasion of Savis Town’s warp portal. An endless stream of people had flooded the portal as it gained enormous popularity. On the other side, at the Resurrection Portal, the shimmering light shone out of resurrection formed a pleasant contrast.

A blinding flash of light flash across.

At the Resurrection Portal, mutterings and grievances filled the air. Another new player with Pharaoh Clan’s insignia attached on his chest turned up, topless. Seeing his current condition, grief and resentment seized him. He stomped towards the vault nearby—his reaction was the same as that of most defeated players in the Graveyard of the Gods……

Not a single player wanted to stop playing despite the penalty—a level reduced for each defeat. As compared to the grand occasion that happened once in a year, this was nothing. Nevertheless, practice makes perfect. If worse came to worst they had to start all over again.

The man roared into the Clan Channel as he dashed towards the bank, “Crap! I’m dead! This Graveyard of the Gods is such a horrible place. I need an entrance ticket, that is two Spirit Orbs…… Does anyone have any to spare?”

“I have an entrance ticket ready for eight hundred gold coins,” replied someone from the Pharaoh Clan.

  “Holy sh*t! That’s daylight robbery!”

“Dude, this is market price, do you still want it?”

“Ugh! Bring it to me! I am sure you will be jealous of the equipment I get from the Graveyard of the Gods!”

The man could not help but compromise. He was muttering as he reluctantly handed five hundred gold coins to the counterpart.

“Hehe, such a great deal. I still have plenty of stock. Hope to see you again!”

  “Go to hell!”

Those who purchased tickets were, somewhat resented the players who only wished to cooperate together once more. Annoyed, they insulted them angrily. Obviously, they were just cursing him.

After getting the entrance ticket, just as he turned his body to make a move, his eye caught a player that was very familiar at first glance.

At first, he took a quick glance at the person from the side. Noticed that he was not capable of viewing any information about that player, he gloomily muttered as he tilted his body and fixed his eyes at the player next to him with his eyes wide open, “Damn! After being trashed several times, now I can’t even see the level of the others.”

At this time, things became much clearer. An icy cold gaze pierced into his eyes. His hand shivered at the penetrating gaze and nearly lost his grip on the entrance ticket.

  Qin Ruo!

  The Tier 4 Aquamancer!

Seeing Qin Ruo, the Pharaoh Clan member was stunned and nearly lost consciousness.

The battle in Killer Bee Valley was a tragedy and it was such a misfortune that he was one of the Field Commander that witnessed the whole calamity. Naturally, he knew Qin Ruo.

Qin Ruo’s looked straight into his eyes, filled with killing intent. He was stunned. He held his breath, turned his body, and rush out of the bank hastily. He thought,

  Damn!

Qin Ruo had killed their subordinates, Not only was he alive and well, his basic Violet and Gold equipment even changed into Gold and Dark Gold……

  ***

The Field Commander of Pharaoh Clan stumbled out of the bank and walked toward the restaurant opposite. He found a place to hide and peered into the vault’s entrance.

  “This goddamn demon!”

It turned out that when Qin Ruo returned to the Savis Town, he had immediately collected the package at the bank sent by Slayer’s Heart. Three pieces of equipment were taken out, one after another.

Two Dark Gold tier items, “Water Dragon’s Staff” and “Falling Sakura Snow Robe” and a Gold tier “Yeti Boots”.

  ***

  ***

As Qin Ruo expected, of the two Dark Gold equipment, only one was of superior quality. The other was only one step ahead of the Gold equipment. However, all three pieces were still up to the mark with high basic attributes. In contrast, his current Violet equipment––the Tier 3 weapon was no match for them. After changing, the chance of surviving in the Graveyard of the Gods was very much enhanced!

Without any delay, Qin Ruo changed to the Frostburst Staff, robe, and boots from head to toe.

However, his efforts to equip these items were in vain. At this time, an alert prompted, only then did he realized that he did not have enough Agility to wear these equipment……

Good thing Qin Ruo was well prepared. After reaching Level 39, he had reserved two Attribute points for the Tier 4 equipment. As such, he then added two points to Agility and fulfilled the equipments’ requirements. Finally, he successfully put on the new equipment which changed his attributes instantly.
