  For the sake of regaining control of the Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon, as well as the items dropped by his group, Saga decided to abandon his pride as an elite player. After agreeing to Slayer’s Heart suggestion, he immediately made the first move while ordering his four comrades behind him to release ranged magic attacks from far in a fan-shaped formation! Despite knowing that Slayer’s Heart’s full strength was certainly greater than his, he was confident that a five versus one battle left no room for surprise. He planned to go all out with his first strike to finish off the fight in a flash!

  However, at the same moment Saga and his men launched their attack, Slayer’s Heart with Pazuzu’s Warhammer in his hand had also made his first move…… His body glowed red as he rushed toward Saga at incredible speed, as if he was a blood-red light beam! The impact created was similar to a bomb just let loose from a cannon! This furious “bomb” instantly arrived before Saga’s eyes……

  Saga had just dashed out for not more than ten meters and immediately felt the scarlet beam right before him. He was dazed.

  “So fast!!!”


  He had never encountered such a fast Berserker. Even a Bowmaster or Bandit with maximum agility would not be able to move at such speed!

  Despite feeling astonished and aghast by his speed, Saga had no time to slowly digest what had just happened. He was about to go head-on with Slayer’s Heart extraordinary speedy hustle and thus braced himself and raised his sword to attack……

  Although the sword was slashed out in a hurry, the attack power and attribute attack loaded on this single slash should never be underestimated. It would still hurt its prey like a striking viper!

  Unfortunately, right at the moment Saga’s sword radiance was about to erupt, Slayer’s Heart’s already fast dash was once again boosted exponentially! The latter collided firmly into Saga’s right shoulder just before he could manage to swing his weapon……

  The other Twelve Zodiacs members at the back were all stunned after witnessing their Field Commander being tossed into the air on the first strike……

  Slayer’s Heart on the other side did not falter in his movements after that!

  He pivoted on his left leg and spun his body! Pazuzu’s Warhammer, carrying a merciless howl that tore the air apart, swung in one full circle before it “hooked” on the “flying” Sage’s back.

  Saga who was just blasted off into the air all curled up like a shrimp, yet his body was now oddly flexed back straight by the “hook” with his momentum all canceled out instantly…… These two contrasting force at such high speed was entirely sustained by Saga. The damage caused also rose from the two digits resulted from normal crashing attack to three digits. Saga finally let out a painful howl.

  At long last!

  Two of the four Elementalists at the rear of the battlefield finally finished charging and hastily cast their completed Tier 2 spell on Slayer’s Heart……

  Lightning Strike! Continuous Fire Bolt!

  Right now it would be foolish to attempt trapping Slayer’s Heart in Berserk mode using magic! They simply did have enough time to do that. So they could only try to lambast Slayer’s Heart with this type of high magic attack spell in hopes to trigger the low probability Stun on him. (High damage attacks could usually inflict short-term attributeless Stun on the opponent player).

  Too bad they were not on the same level as Saga, so they were unable to recognize the threatening signal loomed all over Slayer’s Heart. They should not have pushed their luck with such a powerful player…… If it was Saga who attacked, he would definitely give up chanting without hesitation and opt using a Magic Scroll instead! Although that would be quite humiliating!

  The homing Lightning Strike did strike Slayer’s Heart who had once more moved toward Saga, but the three Fire Bolts missed its target altogether.

  Slayer’s Heart seemed unaffected by the attack. He disregarded the more than a hundred magic damage and landed another heavy hit on Saga’s right arm, which Saga prepared to use for counterattack and level the playing field. As he crushed his opponent’s newly gathered strength, Pazuzu’s Warhammer was swung upward and emitted a furious dragon’s roar……

  Ascend!

  Dragon’s Ascension accurately smashed Saga’s jaw at tremendous speed!

  Saga felt numb at first, followed by severe pain that spread throughout his whole body. He was blasted high into the air and almost fainted, then he felt another tremendous impulse coming right at him from above. This downward force abruptly placed him in an involuntary free fall which made him lose consciousness right after that!

  Accompanied by two different thuds, the system notification sounded.

  Just as the notification rang, Slayer’s Heart retreated from the fight at lightning speed. On the other hand, the four Elementalists at the back were devastated seeing Saga’s corpse on the ground, with every fiber of their being filled with rage.

  Tier 4 unit-target attack spells were finally unleashed continuously after the brief standstill as the Elementalists were stunned looking on Saga’s corpse……

  However, Slayer’s Heart who was ten meters away had yet another unexplainable boost in speed and charged toward the Elementalists. Except for the Fire Dragon’s Roar, the other three Tier 4 unit-target spells missed the speedy Berserker!

  Then, one of the Elementalists at the middle of the group was forced back into the barrier Slayer’s Heart’s incoming strike. The Tier 4 Magic Shield within him appeared and a loud “bang” was heard when met with the attack!

  Initially, he intended to rely on his double Tier 4 defensive magic to block warrior’s attack and coordinate with the other three Elementalists to exterminate Slayer’s Heart. However, when the attacked Elementalist received the system notification after he took the hit, his face paled instantaneously and he exclaimed fearfully, “It’s Magic Penetration…… Argh!!”


  Without able to finish his sentence, Slayer’s Heart’s Pazuzu’s Warhammer completely shattered the Elementalist’s external barrier like an iron rod against beancurd. The Elementalist was subsequently tossed aside like a ragdoll, obviously dead while dropping a piece of equipment.

  Dead!

  Within 6 seconds!

  Both the Twelve Zodiacs Field Commander Saga and one of the Elementalists had paid with their lives!

  Slayer’s Heart simply refused to stop unnecessarily. He continued with his momentum and maneuvered a spinning cut to attack the Electromancer nearest to him.

  This time the attack was much more straightforward. Both the inner and outer defensive layer of the Electromancer shattered simultaneously. The player himself was slammed heavily into the ground by Slayer’s Heart the moment his defense was broken……

  Instant-kill!

  The two rearmost Elementalists were still wondering how the first Elementalist was killed so swiftly at first. But once they witnessed the second Electromancer’s instant death, the rumored wretched skill which could easily take out an Elementalist suddenly came to light……

  Magic Penetration, which ignores all Elementalists defensive barriers and spells!! It could directly pierce through an Elementalist’s body to deliver the most brutal death……

  They had actually bumped into a maniac player whose weapon contained the Magic Penetration attribute in such a desolate place!

  “Kill!”


  “Let’s do it together! Even we were going to lose everything today, we can’t allow them to return in one piece!”


  The death of Saga and another two Elementalists further fuel the vengeance of more than thirty Twelve Zodiacs players at the back. They no longer upheld the promise between their Field Commander and Slayer’s Heart and encircled Slayer’s Heart from the rear!

  “We shall assist Brother Slayer!”


  “Let’s go!”


  On the other end, eight people had also dashed out from the forest and entered the battle zone. Although they were equally curious about Slayer’s Heart sudden boost in speed, and how he could take on so many Elementalists’ attack without consuming potions, they still promptly joined the group fight after seeing more than thirty angry Tier 4 players targeting Slayer’s Heart!

  For nine people to go up against enemies four times their numbers was obviously foolish, what more with the Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon with power comparable to a Level 47 Elite Boss still roaming free……

  However, the Twelve Zodiacs gang apparently did not notice several transparent Aquaramparts quickly taking shape above them!!

  The confidence from Slayer’s Heart, Violet Orchid, and the others indeed stemmed from these Aquaramparts that appeared above the enemies.

  With only a few seconds of effort, six Aquaramparts quickly took shape and froze at the exact moment when Twelve Zodiacs’ Bowmasters, Bandits, and warriors clashed with Slayer’s Heart. Just when each Elementalist was prepared to condense their magic……

  They finally noticed the enormous frost aura above their heads. Some of the Twelve Zodiacs members wavered as they recalled the scary Tier 4 Aquamancer who appeared at the very start of the ambush!

  “Oh no!”


  “Be careful!”


  Exclamations were heard continuously. Many of them turned their head to scan the surroundings to look out for the hidden enemy. However, following a loud explosion, the ice and snow that shattered from the Frostrampart poured down heavily and blinded everyone within range.

  Six simultaneous Frostbursts……

  If this explosion happened half a minute ago, its small AoE would only manage to take out a few enemies, which would drastically turn the tide. Qin Ruo and gang’s situation would then still be rather dangerous. However since the Twelve Zodiacs members were all gathered in one spot now due to the bet between Slayer’s Heart and Saga, the six Frostburst with more than a hundred damage had successfully encompassed and affected every single surviving member of the Twelve Zodiacs party!
