  Throughout the more than ten-minute intense battle, the Twelve Zodiacs sentinels could not wait to get close to the periphery of the battlefield knowing that the Boss was almost at its end.

  They were deep inside Silentdeath Jungle after all, where not a single soul was seen after such a long period of time. It was so quiet in the surroundings and thus, no one would expect that there would be other players passing through at the final moment of their culling……

  At such a critical moment, every Twelve Zodiacs member put their full attention on the Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon! They did not know that such mental exhaustion and occasional carelessness would grant Qin Ruo such a great opportunity!

  As the Twelve Zodiacs team braced themselves to finally subdue the struggling Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon, several Elementalists at the east suddenly saw more than ten transparent Aquaramparts arranged in two rows swiftly gliding through the air above the Elementalists, Radiant Priests, and few warriors located at the west and straight into the battlefield!

  These players were stunned……

  The next second!

  “Enemy ambush!”


  Frightened and deafening warnings were yelled out simultaneously from the mouths of a few Bowmasters near the east!

  “Be careful! They are from the opposing faction!!”


  “Warriors!”


  This warning made tens of players who had their backs against Qin Ruo tremble. Startled, they simultaneously turned their heads around. Even the overly ecstatic Saga, who was prepared to obtain the treasure, was also in shock with his face turning pale……

  Following the attack, a group of Twelve Zodiacs members had successfully identified the red marked Tier 4 Aquamancer that dashed out from behind the tree.

Not only were their movements greatly restricted under the influence of such overwhelming frosty aura, but their sight was also completely impaired. As a result, they were no longer to support the fight with the Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon. Even the Tier 4 Aquamancer, Qin Ruo, was nowhere to be found.

  Without the help from the trapped Radiant Priests, the two Priests on the battlefield were unable to cope with the load!!

  The three Beastblood Berserkers’ health was eventually depleted and finally got killed…… Saga’s greater defense, coupled with the determined support from the two Radiant Priests, allowed him to narrowly survive the Boss attack.

  At this very moment, the Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon seemed to realize that its opportunity had finally arrived. After taking out the three Beastblood Berserkers, it began to charge its ultimate Tier 5 AoE spell while Saga was healing HP and a portion of Elementalists firepower had been deflected! With the monster howling hysterically, black light that signified death accumulated in the form of ripples visible to the eye at an insane speed toward the Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon……

  Saga’s expression changed abruptly!

  At the same time, the Twelve Zodiacs warriors outside the Twelve Frostrampart Formation finally reach their trapped comrades. They slashed through the outer Frostrampart placed by Qin Ruo furiously. After the sporadic sounds of ice shattering, there was another twist to the situation!

  Tens of warriors, Bowmasters, and Bandits that approached the Twelve Frostrampart Formation suddenly realized that the Frostramparts cleaved by the warriors exploded unexpectedly at the same time!

  Following countless explosions after a brief moment, an overwhelming volume of ice and snow coated every single Twelve Zodiacs member within the ten-meter radius outside the Twelve Frostrampart Formation…… The overlapping Frostburst completely engulfed the whole western flank battle line!

  The spectacular and stunning act attracted the attention of the surrounding Twelve Zodiacs members who were using Magic Scrolls at an insane rate. They gasped for in horror after being notified through the party channel that many of their comrades were killed. What more this was single-handedly carried out by an Aquamancer!

  What infuriated them the most was……

  After the opponent disrupted their battle through the strange Frostrampart Formation, he subsequently condensed about twenty Frostrampart to unleash Frostburst, making it impossible for them to track the Tier 4 Aquamancer for the next three seconds at least.

  “Bowmaster, snipe him!”


  “Send a few Bandits into the forest, he is definitely not alone!” Someone in the battle team made the order on Saga’s behalf!

  Instantly, those Bowmasters that avoided the sky full of ice and snow started to condense magic……

  Aside from that, about ten or more Twelve Zodiacs members quickly rushed toward where Qin Ruo came in from!

  What they were unaware of however, was that Qin Ruo and Slayer’s Heart had tricked them a little as well. Slayer’s Heart and eight others were actually hiding at the spot opposite to where they were heading……

  After these men left their position, the two Priests that stayed put in the east suddenly felt a mass of heatwave coming from above them. This alerted them, which made them retreat together with several Elementalists nearby.

  However, it was way too late……

  Dinosaurcerer was actually lying in wait behind them. Once the Bowmasters, Warriors, and Bandits that guarded them left, he immediately gave these players that were fully focusing on the Boss fight a taste of ‘Acid’.

  Dinosaurcerer’s attack, having fused with the Death Toad, was comparable to that of a Tier 4 Shadoweaver. He instantly inflicted more than 400 damage on his two major targets—the two Radiant Priests.

  Burning Rose’s Meteor Shower then followed to instant-kill the last two Priests of Twelve Zodiacs’ party……

  Saga had just desperately interrupted the Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon’s Tier 5 AoE spell with all his might. He then turned his head when he noticed the Meteor Shower, only to witness the moment when his party’s only remaining Priests (a male and a female) drop dead on the ground.

  “Retreat!”


  Saga was hit with revelation after that moment, in which he finally realized the well-planned trap set by their enemy. Their responses were exactly how the enemy wanted them to react. Hence, Saga made no further delay in ordering his party to evacuate the battlefield!

  Their Priests had been completely annihilated yet they had no idea how many enemies were there. If they still refused to retreat at this point, the chances of losing the whole party were extremely high!

  Even though he was on the brink of mental collapse when he gave out such order, he knew that it was their best bet. Without the Priests, the party’s total damage to the Boss would be reduced by 10%. In addition to that, although the Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon had only a few thousand HP left, it was still more than capable to cast its AoE Shieldbreaker to instantly render their remaining highest attackers (Elementalists) defenseless and make them a living target for their enemies.

  As long as they could safeguard around thirty Elementalists, they would stand a chance to retaliate even all other classes. Priest, Bandit, Bowmaster, and warrior were cut down by half……

  If they chose to continue being entangled with the enemy, they were certainly finished. This was because judging from the individual’s displayed combat power and perfectly calculated strategy, the enemies were certainly a group of formidable opponents!

  Unfortunately……

  Although Saga had made the right call, it did not mean that all his underlings could evacuate in time!

  The Mutant Darkshadow Archdemon was the first to hinder their escape after being humiliated for such an extended period!

  After being tortured for so long, the Boss was finally able to break free of Saga, who had fled the scene after losing the Priests’ protection, and marched onward to chase the few Elementalists who just finished casting Tier 4 magic on it on the eastern side.

  Its beastly pupils that turned blood-red due to rage was now filled with massive killing intent. Two materialized black flames on its palm were quickly released and fired toward the seven retreating Elementalists……

  Seeing that the Boss was beginning to chase after other Twelve Zodiacs players as initially planned, Qin Ruo shifted his focus on Saga who was escaping.

  The strongest player in Twelve Zodiacs’ party, but was most probably their biggest weakness too at the same time……

  Once he was taken out from the equation, Twelve Zodiacs defeat would be inevitable!
