After a while, Hu San came out from his hut. He first greeted Qin Feng, then announced, “Since everyone is here, it’s time to go.”

Hu San led them into a secret vault where the rift was in.

Qin Feng only had one company, so they went in first. It was a different scenery this time.

In his previous life, Qin Feng knew Hu San controlled one of the entrances to Dragon Island. However, he never had the opportunity to visit the realm in this wilderness. There were no fortified defenses. This was the first time Qin Feng knew Hu San’s key to the island was laid bare under the vault. That was why Hu San’s place was constantly being attacked.

On Dragon Island, Qin Feng could sense that an energy storm was brewing. It was at about the same intensity the first time he visited the island.

“It’s so cold in here!” Wang Chen could not stop shivering.

“Put on the mecha. This is not a place for C-tiers like you. You are no different from a baby in this unforgiving realm,” Qin Feng said.

Wang Chen immediately took out the mecha. The first prototype stood at about twelve meters high.

“What is this?” Beitang Gan was stunned looking at the towering mecha.

Qin Feng briefly explained the machine and explained that it still had untapped potential.

Beitang Gan was intrigued. He said excitedly, “Do you still have any of this? Is Fengli going to sell them?”

The S-tier did not have many promising descendants or subordinates under him now. If this mecha worked as good as it sounded, he would not mind breaking the bank to own them.

However, even if Chu Fan found a way to mass-produce them in the future, Qin Feng would not sell them. It would be the Fengli Organization’s ultimate weapon.

“We only have one prototype so far. Besides, they are not for sale. My apology, Master Beitang,” Qin Feng replied honestly.

“Don’t be. There’s nothing to be sorry about,” Beitang said.

Qin Feng did not want to offend Beitang Gan. When they were discussing their respective roles, Qin Feng had opted to contribute weapons and money, while Beitang Gan did not have a lot of assets so he could only supply manpower. As such, Beitang Gan would be stationed inside the realm most of the time. Qin Feng did not want Beitang Gan to think that he was being secretive, which might prompt the latter to pick on Wang Chen later.

The rest of the troop came in successively and they were all amazed by the mecha. As for Wang Chen, though he had no idea how he would fare now against other aptitude users, at least the mecha helped to barricade conscious probes coming from the A and B-tiers. That alone was already a huge relief to him.

Besides, it felt good to stand tall above everyone else.

The crowd did not stagnate for too long and got rolling quickly. First, they had to construct a fortress that could at least defend against wild beasts.

Based on previous battles and explorations, Hu San discovered that the frozen peaks around this island could be used as a natural barrier to resist the energy storm. However, ice frozen by aptitude users or normal ice did not have a similar effect.

That was why Hu San had requested for so many men. They were needed to excavate the special ice from the peaks to be used as their fortress’s building blocks.

The nearest peak to their location was about ten kilometers away. Nobody knew how dangerous it would be out there when the storm hit.

“I will go check out the location first with Qin Feng. You guys should stay here and protect the others,” Hu San said.

“Send those C-tiers back through the rift first. Have them come back in only when we have had the ice brought back here. The energy storm in here would be too strong for them,” Qin Feng suggested.

  “That’s true.”

The C-tiers were too feeble in here.

Wang Chen was in a much better spot as compared to the other C-tiers. He was not affected by the storm being encased inside the durable mecha.

Hu San and Qin Feng then brought along more than a hundred B-tiers and walked toward the north.

Along the way, they could hardly see beyond thirty-meter being shrouded by the raging storm. Other than the howling wind, their ears were basically deaf to other sounds too. With their conscious power also blocked, they were not very vigilant against potential danger.

The group advanced cautiously. They did not see any trace of a beast when they reached the first peak. Everyone was relieved.

They then began to dig the frozen peak. They cut the ice block into the size of one-meter-squares each and packed them into spatial equipment.

Five minutes after they started digging, the entire floor began to vibrate. The aptitude users who were immersed in their labor finally sensed the terrifying aura.

Within the storms, one after another giant ultra beast had approached them unknowingly.

  “Ambush!”

The aptitude users shouted in panic. They clumsily took out their weapons from their spatial equipment and gripped them tightly. They gulped nervously as they waited for the ultra beasts to emerge from the storm.

They could now sense it crisply, meaning that the beasts were already close enough.

A-tier beast emperor. There were more than ten of them.

  Roar!

The A-tier beast emperors seemed to be battling something else.

The aptitude users waited anxiously but the beasts never showed themselves.

A moment later, the roars among the storm gradually quieted down. Nonetheless, they could still hear a series of thuds closing in rapidly. Finally, the silhouette of the ultra beast came into sight. What was more frightening was the cold-blooded, emerald eyes belonging to the ultra beast.

The aptitude users were spooked and someone reflexively released an ability.

A wind-type ability was released and hit on the giant ultra beast. It hardly swayed the ultra beast.

“Don’t attack recklessly.” A sound came from the storm and was delivered directly into everyone’s consciousness. The aptitude users were encouraged when they heard the sound.

They then saw it. A man was riding on the back of the horrifying ultra beast.

  It was Qin Feng.

Slowly, the ultra beasts that spooked them emerged one by one. There were a total of eight beast emperors. Peculiarly, they were all heavily battered and none of them had living force left.

  “Undead puppets!”

One of the aptitude users finally realized that the horrific ultra beasts had all been turned into dead puppets, while the puppeteer was none other than Qin Feng.

“Continue with your work. Don’t worry, no beast will disrupt us now,” Qin Feng assured them and turned the beast puppet around. The puppets formed a half-circle around the aptitude users facing outward. They would immediately jump into battle the moment they were assaulted.

The aptitude users looked at each other in bewilderment. They then sped up subconsciously. Though the undead puppets could indeed protect them, Qin Feng’s words were oddly commanding. He sounded like a cruel supervisor watching over their progress and no one dared to slack off.

However, the chatting never stopped in private.

“No wonder the Fengli Organization grew so rapidly these few years. This Qin Feng is unbelievably strong.”

“I don’t see Master Hu helping him. Did he deal with eight A-tier beast emperors all by himself?”

“Who would know what the hell happened just now?”
