We stepped inside the control room, which only has nine masters, and one of them, I am quite familiar with.

Wynona camphor used to be commander of the Scorcese valley, which is now in the hands of Grimm Monsters.

As I had entered with the old man, all the Masters looked at me; some even had expressions of surprise on their faces as they have recognized me and sensed a very faint aura that was coming out of me.

"Everyone, this is Micheal Zaar; from today, he will be the commander of lightning lion legion and responsible for the defenses of the charmel city," He said, and barely anyone seemed surprised by that.

They would have already guessed what a second Grandmaster meant. With our forces stretched so thin, only very few places are important enough to station the two Grandmasters, and regretfully, Charmel city is not that important.

"I have already informed Micheal of everything, and with this, he will formally get the command of Charmel city," Grandmaster St. Germain said and handed me a copper color badge with the emblem of the lightning lion.

"Thank you, Grandmaster St. Germain," I said and placed the badge on the chest beside the badge of academy and pyramid.

"I wish you all the best, Grandmaster Zaar, may the Grimms shudder under your might," the old man said before disappearing from everyone's view in an instant.

I waved at his disappearing form and before turned to the nine masters in front of me. "I am Micheal Zaar, the new commander of lightning lion legion, and you can refer to me as lord Micheal or lord Zaar as you see fit," I said, keeping my expressions serious.

I usually don't like to be referred to as the honorifics, but I am now seen as a Grandmaster class powerhouse and have to maintain that dignity and keep these Masters in control.

"This is my first command, and I hope you all will help me with it all the way you can," I said to them.

"Of course, Grandmaster Zaar," They said in unison. I gave a small smile on that. "Good, now I like to hear about your opinion on the movements of Grimms in the past week and how should we deal with it," I said and took a seat on the table before asking them to sit.

There has been no movement from the Grimms end for the past five days, which is strange considering the Grimms were attacking nearly every day; such aggressive action didn't stop abruptly without any reason.

"It might be due to something happening in their fort?" said a thin man, who should be James Edvin, a peak Master class powerhouse. "They might be preparing something big to take the city in a single attack," said a Master named Raina Julian.

"It might be just an act to rattle us and force us to make a hasty mistake," Wynona camphor said.

One by one, each of them had stated their opinions, and all of them were feasible. The important question is what to do next.

"So, what do you all think I should do?" I asked, and this time, there was a small smile on my face.

While it is true I do not have experience in command and have not fought as many battles themselves, I am not completely clueless either. I will hear their opinion and will make the decision after.

The pyramid had given me the command, and I should do what a commander does, first listen and then act. It is the tip I have gotten from many Grandmasters, I asked before coming here.

They remained silent for a minute before they began to voice their opinion. This time, they were far more careful in their words, likely not wanting to piss their new young talented boss, who might have a big ego.

Their opinions range from waiting and watching to launching an attack immediately; there are even a few creative ideas on launching a stealth attack.

I had throught this was just an off-hand comment to impress me and even ask the person to elaborate the plan, and to my surprise, the person has a quite detailed plan, more details than I had imagined that I could find very few faults inside it.

"Thank you for your opinions," I said with a small smile before getting up from my seat and walking toward the window of the command center.

I have already decided on the plan, and whether it is wise or not, I don't know, but I could not just employ a wait-and-see strategy; who knows what Grimm Monsters might come up with if I give them enough time.

The command center is the center of the city, which is situated on the peak of the mountain. Through this window, I could clearly see the good portion of the city, which is a bright starry sky but an empty, barren forest.

All the civilians had been evacuated from the city, and only people of the lightning lion were occupying it. Most of them are living in the barracks, so despite its bright lights, the city is a ghost town.

I watched through the window for a couple of seconds before I opened the window, "My lord, it is very dangerous. The wards may be powerful, but the enemy has the artifacts that could breach it if they find a single hole in it," Cautioned a voice behind me.

"I know, lady camphor," I replied without looking back, and at the same moment, a silver bird appeared out of nowhere and flew into the snowy sky without making a single noise.

I do not plan to wait around; I have sent Ashlyn to scour the area around the Grimms, and if she does not find anything strange or worrying, I will attack the Grimms fortress, and it would not be a testing attack.

If I get the chance, I will destroy their fortress.

We have been pushed in the northern side for too long; it is time that we do a little push back…… It might seem like a careless move since I have taken the command, but I think it is a wise choice.
