Seeing Qingfeng Li slap Jun Po to death, the self-cultivators around were astonished. They started to step back and looked at Qingfeng Li in terror.

“Qingfeng Li is far too powerful. He slapped Jun Po to death with one hit.”

“Jun Po was the emperor of the Sky-Breaking Dynasty and was the apprentice of the Sky-Breaking Monarch, one of the Four Great Monarchs. Qingfeng Li is screwed! He dared to kill the apprentice of the Sky-Breaking Monarch! After he gets out, he will definitely be chased by the Sky-Breaking Monarch.”

“Not necessarily. You didn’t see how powerful Qingfeng Li was here. How could he be afraid of the Sky-Breaking Monarch when he gets out?”

The self-cultivators around all talked about it one after another. Most of them were worried about Qingfeng Li but some of them had faith in him.

Those who had faith in him had witnessed Qingfeng Li’s power in person. Not only did he killed Xie Ming, but now he also killed Jun Po.

Qingfeng Li looked at Jun Po before him and did not drop his guard, for he realized that Jun Po’s flesh and blood started to coagulate again.

Suddenly, with several miserable moans, Jun Po’s flesh and blood coagulated together and became a complete person again.

Qingfeng Li’s eye squinted, “The Scapegoat Talisman, I didn’t know that you had this kind of treasure on you.”

Jun Po said with a cold voice, “Damnit. You cannot kill me. I have the Scapegoat Talisman that the Sky-Breaking Monarch granted to me.”

  “Huuuu……”

The self-cultivators around all gasped and looked at Jun Po with astonishment.

They certainly knew what the Scapegoat Talisman was. It was an extremely precious thing and could bear death in its holder’s stead. The Scapegoat Talisman was a half-step saint level treasure which was rare in the entire Crimson Fire Continent. Only the Four Great Monarchs could refine one; no one else could obtain it.

No one had thought that the Sky-Breaking Monarch would grant this precious, half-step saint-level treasure to Jun Po and let him bring it to the Mystic Sun Realm.

Qingfeng Li said murderously, “I don’t care if you have the Scapegoat Talisman. I killed you once, I can kill you again.”

Qingfeng Li kept walking forward and waved out a Saint Solar Palm abruptly. He summoned an eight-thousand-foot core fire palm which contained intense solar essence fire. It burned the air and seared the void. This time, his palm was a thousand feet bigger than his seven-thousand-foot palm a short while ago, for his ability had broken through to the next level and he could summon greater amounts of vital essence.

At the sight of this, Jun Po’s face changed color. He had been killed once already by the Saint Solar Palm, so he was undoubtedly very scared.

Jun Po yelled at Huozhu Chi on his side, “What are you waiting for? Hurry up and block him! Otherwise, we are all gonna die.”

Huozhu Chi nodded and put away the Eight Trigrams Compass, he knew that it could do no harm to Qingfeng Li.

Huozhu Chi thought a motion and took out a sword from his body.

This sword was over a meter long and three fingers thick, flaming red in color. On the sword, there were engraved several flame patterns, which were made in the pattern of Mars, containing terrifying power. As soon as the sword appeared, the space around it was burned, melted, and, at the same time, cracked.

“Crimson Fire Monarch Sword,” Linglong Xue’s face color slightly changed when she saw this, “I didn’t expect the Crimson Fire Monarch to grant you this sword.”

Among the entire Crimson Fire Continent, the Crimson Fire Monarch was the ruler. He ruled the vital energy of the whole planet and controlled the sky and the land.

During his early age, the Crimson Fire Monarch used to wield the Crimson Fire Monarch Sword and he used it to defeat countless masters to finally become the ruler. It was unexpected that he would entrust Huozhu Chi to take the sword with him into the Mystic Sun Realm.

Qingfeng Li’s face also slightly changed when he heard Linglong Xue’s words. He certainly had heard the legend of the Crimson Fire Monarch Sword and knew that it was a powerful, half-step saint level dharma treasure.

The key is that after it had been refined by the ruler of the planet, the sword contained substantially more energy and could do fatal damage to almost anyone with one swing.

Huozhu Chi held the Crimson Fire Monarch Sword and swung forward with great force. It formed a streak of red sword energy which cut apart the void and came towards Qingfeng Li, trying to cut him in half.

Qingfeng Li’s face changed and he gathered strength in his right palm. Without hesitation, he sent out a giant Saint Solar Palm, which burned space and destroyed everything in its path. The palm clashed against the sword light and created a sky quaking sound.

  “Peng!”

The next moment, space ruptured into two dark holes. It looked like the end of the world, frantic energy spreading all around, pushing the self-cultivators aside.

Only Linglong Xue stood still in her spot. She used the little demonic bottle to resist this power.

Qingfeng Li’s eyes tightened up and showed a hint of surprise, for his Saint Solar Palm had been invincible and easily killed Jun Po, yet now it was blocked by Huozhu Chi’s long sword.

The Crimson Fire Monarch deserved to be the ruler of the planet. The sword he used to use was sure enough far too powerful.

Huozhu Chi also looked at Qingfeng Li shockingly. “I didn’t know that you learned the cultivation techniques of the Sun Monarch and could block my Crimson Fire Monarch sword. But, I would like to see how many hits you can block from my sword.”

Huozhu Chi summoned the vital essence in his body and the Crimson Fire Monarch Sword formed several streaks of red sword light, which cut the void in strips. Then, the sword lights came rushing towards Qingfeng Li from all directions.

Qingfeng Li unleashed the solar essence fire and swung out with Saint Solar Palms. His palm crashed against the sword lights and scattered them to pieces.

However, Qingfeng Li’s solar essence fire was gone as well. They were natural opponents of each other and would be destroyed and disappear when they met.

The whole space was brimming with the breath of the Sun Monarch and the Crimson Fire Monarch.

Although their real bodies didn’t come down, the energies from their cultivation techniques and dharma treasures dissipated around and rushed towards the bronze sarcophagus beside them.

The bronze sarcophagus shot a beam of cyan light as it felt the aura of the Crimson Fire Monarch. That cyan light contained incredible strength and shot on the Crimson Fire Monarch Sword.

~Ping~, it shot a big hole in the sword.

Seeing this, the people around were dumbfounded.

Huozhu Chi was scared as though he had just seen a ghost. The Crimson Fire Monarch Sword in his hand was a half-step saint level item and even Qingfeng Li’s Saint Solar Palm could not break it. How come a beam of cyan light could break it?

Qingfeng Li was also surprised. He looked at the bronze sarcophagus beside them with tremendous astonishment.

He already started to doubt that this bronze sarcophagus was no ordinary thing but a huge treasure. Now, he was convinced that his speculation was right. Only a huge treasure that could not be understood easily, like the bronze sarcophagus, would be able to hold the Sun Monarch’s body.

As everyone was astonished, Qingfeng Li’s body became like sharp arrow and arrived in front of Jun Po quickly.

Qingfeng Li suddenly used his right forefinger and released the strength of the dragon bone, as he stabbed into Jun Po’s heart and tore it in half.

  “Peng!”

Jun Po’s body fell on the ground again, dead.

This time, Jun Po did not have another Scapegoat Talisman, so he died for good.

After Qingfeng Li killed Jun Po, he extended his right hand and called Jun Po’s White Spirit Halberd, putting it in his interspatial ring.
