Once again, she entered the world tree but this time she’s alone.

  "Iziuel!" Shiro called out.

"You called?" Iziuel’s voice rang out tiredly.

"Where are you right now?" Shiro asked.

"Where am I? I’m not sure." Iziuel replied

"Are you able to see me then?" Shiro asked once more since the only thing in the world tree right now was the sapling.

"Give me a second…… Ah you’re below me. Are you able to come up? It’s a bit hard for me to move unfortunately." Iziuel chuckled.

  "Sure."

Jumping up, she activated her flight skill.

{My queen, do you think we’ll be able to get her out as soon as possible?} Nimue asked worriedly.

’I’ll try. I’m just not sure what kind of effect would occur if I used the life fire.’ Shiro replied with a slight frown.

  {Mn.}

Continuing her flight up, they were shocked at what they saw. Suspended in the air while being entwined by numerous vines, a feeble girl could be seen barely responding while her wings were crippled behind her. Not only that, they could see that her eyes seemed hollow despite her eyelids being closed. It was as if there were no eyeballs behind them.

{!!!} Taking a sharp breath in, Nimue looked at Iziuel in horror.

"Iziuel, is this you?" Shiro asked hesitantly.

"Yes it is? How do I look? I can’t exactly see myself." The girl opened her mouth and said softly.

It was quite a weird experience since she was both soft and loud at the same time.

Feeling a tang of heartache, Shiro reached out to the girl and cupped her cheeks.

"I can heal you right now and give you some strength back. While I don’t know how much this will do, I hope it can help you." She sighed.

Activating life fire, Shiro watched as Iziuel’s body started to get some flesh back while her wings slowly repaired. Just as she was about to sigh in relief, she felt a strong suction from the world tree.

Draining her mana at a much faster pace than she expected, Shiro’s eyes became bloodshot due to the strain of her mana links.

"Sss!" Taking a sharp breath, she retracted her hands and tried to retreat.

However, the world tree wasn’t about to give up and launched several vines towards her.

"Generation 3 Zephyr Spirit Online." She commanded and quickly encased herself in her fastest armour.

Dodging the vines, she landed back on the ground roughly since she didn’t have the luxury to adjust her speed. If she slowed down anymore, vines would have caught her.

"Ah quickly run! I can’t control the vines." Iziuel called out in worry. All she could do right now was watch as Shiro was being attacked.

Stomping down as hard as she could, a burst of cold mist exploded out from her body, freezing the vines and turning them to ice dust instantly.

’Damn…… this astral ice is really potent.’ Shiro thought to herself in surprise. Since the enemy was the world tree right now, she had expected her ice to only slow it down. She didn’t expect it to outright destroy the vines.

Feeling the power behind her attack, the world tree was a little fearful and quickly retracted its vines.

"Fu……" Sighing out in relief, Shiro could only furrow her brows.

’Nimue, I don’t think we can extract Iziuel right now. My mana is being drained at a ridiculous rate whenever I come into contact with that tree.’ She shook her head.

{I understand my queen. When it had tried to drain you of mana, I felt its intent try to invade your mana realm so that it could drain everything.} Nimue replied with a frown.

’I see…… That’s quite a worry isn’t it?’ Shiro narrowed her eyes at the sapling which laid in the centre of the room.

"Are you ok?" Iziuel called out.

"Yes I am. Though it seems that I can’t help you just yet. The tree is quite violent in its ways." Shiro replied apologetically. She was thinking about freeing Iziuel from the constraints with her ice but that would mean the tree lost its source of power.

Without it, it would just wilt and die. Something that would cause quite the problem.

"Ah it’s fine. I haven’t felt this energetic in a while, thank you." Iziuel smiled.

"I’ll try come everyday to heal you ok?" Shiro suggested as Iziuel paused for a moment.

". . . If that’s not too troublesome for you, I would greatly appreciate it."

Nodding her head, Shiro looked back at the tree one more time with narrowed eyes.

"Oi, I know you’re sentient. If you try to kill me, I’ll freeze your ass into the next generation if I have to regardless of your importance to the elven race. Endanger my life and you’re my enemy." She warned while concentrating her killing intent on the sapling.

The sheer amount of killing intent was suffocating for the sapling as even after she tried to control it, frost could be seen slowly forming on the surface of its leaves.

The branches hastily did a nodding motion as if it was a kid who had just been scolded.

Retracting her killing intent, Shiro left the room.

  [Level Up!]

"Oh my, that’s quite fast." She raised an eyebrow. Now that she needed 50% less EXP, level ups should come more often especially with Lisa in a dungeon.

Allocating her points accordingly, she cupped her chin.

"Hmm…… I’m not doing anything in particular for now so I should head into a dungeon too. It would be helpful if I hit level 70 quickly. I can fight level 100’s with relative ease so a level 80 dungeon should be within my reach." Shiro muttered while pulling out her phone.

Since she was alone right now, she could head into any dungeon, even if it was under a prince’s observation, and stay undetected.

  "Which one should I do……"

Scrolling through all the dungeons she had found on the web, she looked through the ones that were level 80 and above.

While she was looking through these, she was having a casual stroll back to her room.

’Hmm…… why don’t I test out my ice a little more? A level 80+ fire type dungeon should be fine.’

{That’s true. But you also want to go against those with a lot of armour and magic resistance. After all, you did have quite a bit of trouble with that mech. That being said, it was designed to go against you so I’m not surprised.} Nimue suggested.

’Indeed. My Frozen Hell Series has come to a halt since I’ve been focusing a lot on other things. Frozen slumber is probably my best skill in the series in all honesty. I haven’t used the other skills as much. Any ideas for a new spell?’

  {Well…… so far you’ve got control skills sorted. What you need is an attack focused armour penetration skill.}

’Right. Hmm…… I’ll probably think of something in the dungeon.’ Shiro shrugged her shoulders.

Settling with the level 85 Inferno Subterranean Dungeon, she searched up its location and started to make her way over there.

The dungeon gate for this particular dungeon was within the first prince’s territory and it was one of his most prized dungeons due to the armour pieces that you could earn from the final boss.

It was a set of armour called the Revenant Inferno Set. With this set, it has the option of choosing a monster target to lock on to and siphon a little of their powers to upgrade the armour. Even if they died, the power would remain and even increase a little.

While this ability wasn’t stackable, if you used it on a raid boss, the stats on the armour would increase tremendously.

Unfortunately, this didn’t account for title bonuses so even if she used it on a boss, she wouldn’t get much. After all, their ridiculous MP values are a result of their insane Monster Titles that were enhanced by the dungeon.

Shiro theorised that if she had become linked to a dungeon, her monster title would definitely get an upgrade. But that was not worth having her freedom restrained.

Phasing out of the castle, she made her way to the dungeon.

It didn’t take her too long to arrive but when she did, she located several level 100’s that were guarding the area.

Smiling softly, she activated Rift Walker and Phantom path.

While the level 100’s did detect a fluctuation in mana, when they arrived at her spot, they discovered nothing.

"Spread out, see if you can find who it was." One of level 100’s commanded with a frown.

Little did he know, Shiro had long entered the dungeon.
