  Qin Feng took out the B-tier’s aptitude user’s badge. It had a simple pattern and looked like your average aptitude user’s badge. 

  He pulled off his own badge and peeled off the sign on top of it and separated the badge itself from its patterned frame. 

  The frame of his badge represented him as a governor and it was easily recognisable. 

  After returning the C-tier aptitude user’s badge, he lay the B-tier badge into his frame before finally putting it on. This was the badge of a high-level aptitude user. 

  S-tiers were rarely born. A-tiers were stuck with the ministry business along the borders but B-tiers, wherever they were, had authority. 

  Of course the effect lessened when the front-line was mostly composed of B-tiers. 

  Any other place, anyone would feel that they had the power to shift even the sky above them! 

  “End the support mission!” Qin Feng said again, wanting to end the task because killing the Glutton Leviathan was also on record. This time, his performance was about as good as his performance in the Dusan Basin!

  She was only an E-tier aptitude user. 

  “No need, you should leave now!”

  The staff member immediately packed up their things and disappeared into a back room. 

  Qin Feng stepped out of the hall and everything seemed calm outside, not a single cloud in the horizon. 

  However, everyone knew that the tsunami was going to reach them in less than ten minutes! 

  At the coast, the water levels were dropping and the tide had abruptly retreated. Qin Feng knew that if they were to come back again, it would bring the horror of drowning everything! 

  There was chaos everywhere with aptitude users yelling, 

  “Get the evacuating people into the hover cars! Hurry!” 

  “The protective cover is going to turn on at any time!” 

  “Water ability users, start hauling ass!” 

  “Group the vessels together before they get crushed by crashing into each other, come on!” 

  Qin Feng quickly moved through the crowds as he approached the Glutton Leviathan. 

  The staff on the Leviathan had left long ago and only two people were left behind for routine management. Qin Feng activated the first authority and shifted the Glutton in a horizontal line at the bay, as if the massive creature could intercept the huge tsunami. 

  Qin Feng roared, “Deep-sea vessels of the Fengli Organization gather here! Immediately!” 

  The vessels that were gathered at the pier quickly mobilized and lined up behind the Leviathan. 

  While he was busy, a white line appeared on the sea’s horizon. 

  Then, a tsunami that must have been 100 meters loomed in like a terrifying maw, ready to swallow people up at any time. 

  The atmosphere was immediately filled with a thick amount of tension. 

  Qin Feng let the two aptitude users operate the Glutton and quickly arrived outside. 

  “Activate the protective cover! Quickly!” Zhang Geng’s voice spread through the dock, hoarse from all of his previous yelling. 

  Woom! 

  Then, the A-tier city-wide protective shield was activated. 

  A huge translucent lid covered the people’s heads! 

  The range of this protective cover was about 2000 meters but compared to the tsunami which they could no longer see the edge of, this was nothing at all! 

  Now the docks were like a reef and it must meet this coming tide. 

  This was the coastline. If the tsunami rushed past it, it would attract more ultra beasts to rush toward East Sea City and if it reached there the results would be disastrous! 

  “Water ability users get ready!” 

  Zhang Geng stood on top of the Glutton as it was the Glutton which was going to be the first vessel to meet this tsunami. As such, many more water ability users stood on it as well. 

  Qin Feng was standing here as well but nobody cared that there seemed to be one extra person among them. 

  The tsunami got closer and closer until it filled their range of sight with only dark blue. As it covered the sunset, it made people feel that the color was a pitch black. The color of despair. 

  In the matter of a few seconds, the tsunami was right in front of them. 

  Boom! 

  The massive tsunami collided with the protective shielding 

  The shield that could defend against A-tier ultra beasts began to dim after the initial impact. 

  “Now!” 

  Zhang Geng roared. 

  “Torrent Shift!” 

  “Torrent Shift!” 

  “Torrent Shift!” 

  Many of the other water ability users roared out as well. 

  Eight of them were B-tier, including Zhang Geng and there were more than forty C-tiers present. They all activated their consciousness! 

  Blue runes emitted from the bodies of these ability users and rushed toward the incoming seawater that threatened to overwhelm and submerge them. 

  These terrifying waves were immediately parted but there was still water behind them. 

  Boom! 

  Something violently crashed into the cover, it was a huge black deep-sea vessel! 

  That was obviously a vessel from the Public Capital Corporation. 

  Although the Fengli Organization dominated the market, they did not manufacture theirs very quickly and there were still some of Public Capital’s vessels still in use. 

  After seeing this huge vessel, all the water ability users fell silent. They knew that there were countless aptitude users still out at sea and there was no way of coming back. The unprecedented terror that was the tsunami would sink them. 

  “Move away!” 

  Zhang Geng shouted. 

  The vessel had already moved out of the way just as the sound came. 

  Zhang Geng felt a huge consciousness! 

  He unconsciously turned his head and saw Qin Feng’s grim face and was shocked to see the dark blue runes emitting from his body. 

  Qin Feng was using water runes. 

  The Glutton was an aquatic ultra beast. It did not just have dark runes in its crystal core, it had water runes as well. It was an A-tier ultra beast that reached beast king level and borderline beast deity level. One could only imagine how many water runes it had. 

  Back in Cinderclast City, Qin Feng had absorbed some earth runes, but that was not enough to be used.

  Chapter 685: When the Vision Appears, There Must be Treasure

  The water elemental rune had become Qin Feng’s diamond starglobe’s third color. 

  “Torrent Shift!” 

  Qin Feng diverted the water flow, using it to carry the newly-appeared submarine and preventing it from continuing to crash into the shield. 

  Suddenly, something dangerous appeared behind it. 

  “Ah! A Devil Shark!” A C-tier aptitude user screamed. 

  This was a B-tier sea beast from the deep sea. It had a powerfully destructive presence in the coastline, all of the C-tiers were going to die. 

  This Devil Shark had experienced some damage earlier but it was not fatally wounded. Merely a flesh wound. 

  It violently slammed itself into the side of the vessel before twisting its body, opening its maw and crunching down onto the deep-sea vessel’s hull. 

  The deep-sea vessel either no longer had power or everyone inside it had died and did not release their energy shield. 

  As such, a chunk of it was ripped out by the Devil Shark. 

  A few corpses began to float out into the sea and this scene enraged every aptitude user that saw it. 

  Even though everyone in that submarine was dead, the aptitude users saw the sea beast snuff out those people’s final hope and found that unforgivable. 

  “Kill that thing!” Zhang Geng yelled. 

  It was at this moment when a beam of darkness pierced through the protective cover! 

  It instantly enveloped the Devil Shark and when it started to thrash about it struggles gradually got weaker and weaker, its strength ebbing away as its flesh dissolved and all that remained was a skeleton. 

  A Death Ray! 

  “Torrent Shift!” Qin Feng willed his consciousness and shifted his attention to move the Devil Shark’s corpse away as well as the broken deep-sea vessel. 

  The aptitude users were still simmering with rage as they grieved for those of the similar ilk that were lost! 

  Nobody said anything as their comrade’s corpses were also carried away by the water. 

  Time trickled past by the minutes, by three minutes, these B-tier aptitude users were already drained of their reserves. 

  “The water level’s already dropped, hang on! Just hang on!” Zhang Geng exclaimed. 

  However, while the aptitude users could hang on, the protective shield no longer could. 

  Crack! 

  The sound of breaking glass could be heard and the entire protective shield began to fade away. 

  There was still sea water at least 20 meters tall and slamming down toward them! 

  All of the aptitude users paled and immediately activated their abilities.

  It obviously was not the first time for these ability users and naturally they understood that this was the most useful move! 

  Water Prison was an ability originally meant to restrain other people, a watery sphere that locked down their opponents. This moment they decided to use this watery sphere on themselves! 

  In this case, when the tsunami hit them they could meld into the sea water and this would prevent them from getting harmed. 

  Qin Feng on the other hand had a completely different idea from the rest. 

  “Turn on the protective cover!” 

  Qin Feng used his consciousness to manipulate the Glutton and instantly opened a new protective cover. 

  Whoom! 

  The protective cover was activated and covered these aptitude users. As the water crashed down onto them it made a massive crashing noise. 

  However, all this water was not enough to phase the Glutton. 

  Bonk bonk! 

  The Glutton’s protective cover and its colors began to dim. 

  It managed to prevent the wave from crashing onto them. 

  Zhang Geng was taken aback but quickly reacted. 

  “Again!” 

  The water ability users quickly dropped their Water Prison and began to use Torrent Shift. 

  However, this Torrent Shift was not as effective because the entire pier has been submerged underwater! 

  Without the large protective shield, it was only a matter of time before the pier was submerged. Fortunately the effects were not terribly huge. However, as the neatly arranged vessels were in disarray, it was at this moment that the sea beasts attacked! 

  The aptitude users could not fight back! They were too close to other vessels. If they were to fire, they might accidentally hit the rest. 

  Fortunately, at this time the water levels dropped again to 15 meters. The Glutton managed to put up resistance against the first wave and the deep-sea vessels were still staying afloat instead of colliding and being destroyed! 

  The most critical moment had passed! 

  “Get ready for battle!” 

  Zhang Geng roared out an order again. 

  This time, the water levels had dropped and after the tide retreated there were more subsequent issues! 

  Sea beasts had washed up ashore! 

  Too many! 

  With how spread out they were it was only a matter of time before they approached East Sea City! 

  They had not received a notice yet and naturally did not completely evacuate. There were those who had been washed up onto the wharf and were hunting down the ultra beasts that had reached that area. 

  The ultra beasts were coming toward the Glutton. With the number of enemies incoming it had become the front line!

  “Everyone group up! Start killing!” 

  B-tier ultra beasts required a group of B-tiers to take down. Many were nervous about such beasts and when any of them showed up it was bound to cause plenty of casualties. 

  And now, there looked to be many B-tier ultra beasts incoming! 

  Qin Feng pulled out his Verdant Emperor Saber from his spatial rune equipment. He could not conceal his strength any longer at this moment, he knew what was going to happen in the future and had to finish this quickly! 

  When the Verdant Emperor Saber appeared, the blade alone was enough to draw the eyes of the B-tiers around him. 

  He kicked off with Dragon Steps and immediately reached the side of a B-tier beast.

  The Verdant Emperor Saber burst out into a ten-foot long flame, instantly severing the spine of the sea beast and almost chopping it in half!

  The Verdant Emperor Saber cut down, slicing away multiple tentacles and scattering those still wriggling everywhere. 

  “Fire Dragon Technique!” 

  Qin Feng used his Fire Dragon to annihilate the sea beast! 

  After that, he shot off toward another vessel like a cannonball. 

  Ten slain! 

  Twenty slain! 

  Thirty…… 

  All of the powerful sea beasts were killed by Qin Feng. 

  At this time, the aptitude users who were saying their goodbyes to friends and family stared at Qin Feng with amazement. With Qin Feng here, these ultra beasts could not do anything at all! 

  “Stop staring and clean up the rest!” Zhang Geng shouted out and continued to give orders! 

  “Quickly, release a drone and see if there’s going to be a second tsunami!”

  As soon as that was said, the originally dark sky was suddenly illuminated by a white light. 

  Qin Feng stopped fighting for a moment and looked to the horizon. 

  The beam of light soaring into the sky attracted everyone’s attention. 

  When this beam pierced through the clouds, not only East Sea City, but all of the coast cities would have seen it! 

  “It has appeared!” 

  Qin Feng’s expression began to shift.
